I had one of the Cary Cad-300sei for about 5 years. It was the best amp I have ever owned. It was for me going to be the amp for the rest of my life. However, divorce showed up one day and I had to sell it. I still miss it, more than the wife. It was wonderful. With the right 300b's almost nothing can beat this int.amp.
@@khacdungtrinh9495 I played all kinds of music through it. You name it and I played it. Even a lot of world music,Middle eastern, Indian, Asian, rock, metal, folk, classical, jazz really everything. I used a variety of speakers, all very efficient, 93 Db and higher. I used Soliliquy 5.3"s 2 different OB pairs and a small Klipsch I was loaned by a friend. They were Forte' IiI's I think. Headphones were Beyer Dt-1990s,Sennheiser Hd 600,650s and Focal Elegia.
I will throw this out there, to the folks that love this airy tube sound, try and find an older Sansui stereo receiver. I have a 1969 Sansui 2000 and a 1970 Sansui 4000. They both have that airy sound, the 4000 is a bit more prominent in that area, but the 2000 is close. I paid $200 for each piece, and both worked. The 4000 I had to service, which I did myself. They both sound phenomenal, deep rich bass on the Zu Omen Dirty Weekends I own, the midrange is very airy, very tube like. The highs are very detailed, not harsh, just enjoyable with none of the sterile digital sound. You are in the room. I am using a Mofi StudioDeck with their Master Tracker cartridge. For streaming, a WiiM pro powered by an LHY 5v linear power supply and the PS Audio Gaincell as a DAC/Preamp, mainly as a digital hub for the WiiM. I have a Pi2 Design Mercury v2 streamer in the mix too, via i2s to the Gaincell. But quite frankly, the WiiM sounds much better paired with the Sansui. If you have $200, and a pair of Zu speakers, I would find one of these vintage Sansui units and give it a go. It is now the primary piece in my rack, the rest of the gear is long gone, including the Venus II 12th.
Pues si que nos puede interesar que muestres todas tus anteriores configuraciones! Xo como lo hacemos tienes algun video q se puedan ver una por una y tu grabas la voz explicando?
I had the Evos for a full 2 1/2 months. They're excellent speakers and the two are remarkably different (they and the Zu DWs). I wouldn't say they image "better" - they are probably more "accurate" in terms of placement, but the Zu's are difficult to describe. They create a soundscape that seems to expand *well* beyond themselves and the depth to them is enormous. The Zus have tonal subtlety that the Evos cannot touch. I preferred the Evos for classical, but for everything (most of the time) else, the Zus. I finally sent the Evos onward (very reluctantly) but the Zus are remaining with me.
And yes, the Zus have far, *far* better bass - low, mid and upper, the Zu's are more complete sounding. The Evos can sometimes have a thicker mid and a more natural treble (not all the time), but the Zu's respond to EQ adjustment far better and more predictably, which sort of made it a non-issue for me.

Makes the speakers sound alive.. impressive ..
This is like a kick in the balls. i play this on my system and i thought it was perfect. this is next level. wow great work.
I'm absolutely in love with these!!
Have to get them..
Fantastic acoustic guitar from Nils Lofgren - Keith Don’t Go. I’ve been interested in SET but haven’t made the plunge. This setup is an inspiration.
Back again. Love this setup.
I need that amp in my life!

Yeah, U have a NHT 2.5 like those. Any thoughts?
AMAZING!
I like these but I’m torn between these or wharefdale evo 4.2’s, same price but evo’s image better, these seem to have better bass

At the end of the day (after shipping and any extras you may add to a Zu Omen DW) a more fair comparison would be to the Evo 4.3.
I have the nht's. How do the zu compare?
Are those the Maple or Hickory???
Looks like Maple Sangria.
Why have you got two pairs in a room and one in a corner?
Likely only to aggravate YT viewers. Certainly would not be due to space constraints and limitations, that's obvious.
amazing sound feels like live!
Acoustics unacceptable, sound quality mediocre for this song, why record such things?
Yikes so much money wasted, all about placement
Undamped room👎
