My grandmother started a tradition over 50 years ago where all the women and young girls in the family bake hundreds of different types of cookies together the Saturday before Christmas. Then we give them out to family and friends. Singing laughing and even some arguing that’s harmless yet hilarious

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer with my family. We watch it literally every year and it’s one of my favorite Christmas movies.

I've spent the past few Christmases by myself because my family and I are not very close nor can I recall any fond Christmas memories with them. I admire the bond that you guys have and it gives me hope of what is possible for my future children. The most important tradition that I would love to implement with my future family would be volunteering and giving gifts at soup kitchens (possibly running one of my own) because I know how lonely and isolated it can feel during the holidays. My new favorite tradition is letting my teen pick out gifts for a child her age in need and sponsoring them. I do it at a local church who helped me when I lost my job years ago around the holidays. I love how selfless my daughter is and how excited she gets shopping for someone who is less fortunate.
Ever since I became a mom 8 years ago currently a girl mom of 2 now I make it a priority to take off work for two weeks to spend it with my girls Christmas holds a special place in my heart it’s a happy time and just to be with them and the quality time is UNMATCHED ❤

My favorite Christmas tradition is to read the story of the birth of Jesus in Luke before we open gifts with our family. ❤It’s something my Mom’s done with us since we were kids, and now that I’m an adult I do the same with my family.

I am already following all pages but my favorite Christmas tradition is watching Home Alone on Christmas Eve every single year. I have two adult children and 3 under the age of 18 so to have ALL of my children home with their busy schedules every year doing this tradition is everything I could ask. One of my favorite traditions is everyone always going over to my mom and dad's including relatives and friends on Christmas Eve for our gathering of foods, games, and Karoke until the we hours of the morning and do it all over again on Christmas Day. My household family members always buy a small gift for everyone, so there's so many gifts, and all are opened at mom and dad house. Then someone always does a gag gift, so you never know who did one or who will get a gag gift, and that is the funniest ever. One year, my brother wrapped one of my mom's purses and gave it to her, and it took her a second to realize it was one of her own bags🤣🤣🤣🤣. I've been grown for years now, and the tradition still goes on❤❤❤❤❤
My christmas tradition with my family is when all the cousins get together to wear matching t-shirts or pajamas to have dinner on christmas 🎄 day. We also gather around to do karaoke and play games. We do this every year. ❤

My favorite tradition is the music. My mother use to get up early and play all the wonderful soul artists Christmas songs from the O'jays to the Emotions to the Temptations. I now do this with my daughter and it gives me such happiness to see her rocking and singing along just like I did. Best feeling ever. Music warms the souls
My mom would always make homemade peanut butter cookies with us, and we would have all the classic Christmas songs playing while we made them.
Now I try to keep this same tradition with my son, and we make his favorite chocolate chip cookies. When he’s older, I hope it will be as rememberable for him as it was for me.❤ Merry Christmas!

Now that I have a little family of my own, My son and nephew. I want to start new holiday traditions. We are going to celebrate Kwanza for the first time this year. Im looking forward to teaching them about Kwanza and what it means to our culture. I hope you all have a blessed holiday season!
My favourite Christmas tradition is when me and my twin would go with our Mummy to visit our grandma in the country and make traditional meals like Christmas cake, coconut drops (like a sweet coconut treat), Christmas dinner, Christmas breakfast and sorrel. We would get to see all our family we didn’t see for a while and go Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. It was so nice.

When I was a kid, my parents had that album on a white cassette tape and we would play it over and over during the holidays. Did I mention that my daughter's are now 19 and 24 and STILL love this tradition l. It warms my heart to know they still look forward to this every year.
My favorite Christmas tradition is making gumbo with my sisters. 🥰We sing, we laugh & enjoy each others company. We don’t spend a lot of time together (just us) throughout the year. When I started my family, one thing that I've always wanted to do was to start traditions that we can pass on to our kids. Every year, we put up the Christmas tree on Halloween night after we've taken the kids trick or treating. We bake cookies, pop popcorn and put on a holiday movie while decorating. I love the feeling of Christmas and how happy it makes everyone, so it's always nice to have that around for longer than usual ☺️🫶🏾

My favorite tradition since becoming a mom is baking cookies for Santa with my girls. Growing up, we didn't do any special things for Christmas, so I am so excited to do these with my girls and husband. They are getting older, so I know it won't be long before they are tired of it, so I am cherishing every moment!

Happy holidays ladies!! 🎄 As a mixologist, my favorite tradition is getting together with other mixologist/ friends to do a bar crawl. We start out by going to a happy hour somewhere…. They have to have great food 👍🏽. And then we go around to different bars to see other mixologist that are working that we know. We call it “barmas “.

My favorite Christmas tradition is gifting my family an item with our family picture on it. Whether it be a Christmas ornament or a tshirt, they love the intimate personalized touch. I’m also from Alabama so we get together and eat Thanksgiving food all over again lol But I wouldn’t trade it for the world ❤
My favorite Christmas tradition is personal to just me that I started the first year of the pandemic. I couldn't fly home to visit my folks and didn't know if I was going to be spending my first Christmas alone. So I decided I was going to cook my favorite foods and have an enjoyable holiday regardless, and so a few months prior I got the idea to start ordering gifts for myself, but saved the packages until Christmas to open them. Even though they weren't surprises, the joy came from the built up anticipation and then finally getting to open them. I had upbeat Christmas music playing and was cheesing like a little girl the whole time! I did end up spending the holidays with nearby relatives, but I enjoyed the experience so much that now I've continued doing it every year since then and in fact will be opening this year's packages tomorrow before I go off on vacation!
I actually don’t have a Christmas tradition; things have changed drastically over the years (losing my dad then mother in law, moving to a new state with my husband, and having kids). It recently hit me that I’m the new age “grown up” and it’s really on me to start a new tradition and God willing have my family close by to enjoy these moments. ♥️
As of right now, I just want to make sure my kids enjoy the holidays; it feels like Christmas is really for them.

Hello Loved Ones!! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is one where we would wake up to my Mom's Christmas Fruit Cake!! Yes, we are a family that loves fruit cake, but not just any fruit cake! My Mom would do all the things by making sure she had the main ingredients: rum, fruit, nuts, raisins, etc., and the house would smell so good! Then, we would have family prayer/worship, (my Mom, daughter, son and I) and my son would always lead us in the prayer!! 🤗🙏💞
Now that I have my own family! I enjoy making Christmas-themed food/snack boards, for Christmas movies such as The Grinch, HA 1 & Santa Clause! I also love baking, and gifting cookies in cookie tins to teachers, family and friends!

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching all of the Christmas Classic cartoons: Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Frosty the Snowman. Then round out the night with A Christmas Story. It’s a bit different now since my mom passed away in 2020 and my husband was involved in a motorcycle accident in 2021. But, I’m keeping these traditions alive.
My favorite tradition has been in my family for generations. Baking black cake and making sorrel drinks. We usually soak the fruits for the cake a year before its baked so the flavor is an experience that you you have to try for yourself. Eating, chatting up with family and watching classical Christmas movies. It doesn't get any better

My favorite Christmas activity was picking out a real/live Christmas tree with my dad. My mom put a stop to it because she got tired of us bringing home trees that were too big lol. But I like real trees. They have your home smelling like cedar and pine needles if it’s a good tree.
My family does a Cookie Exchange every year.. we all bake cookies and share them. Each year we think of creative cookies. This year I did s’more’s cookies and strawberry crunch. They were so good!! 🎄✨💗
My favorite Christmas activity is siblings Christmas party with my husband’s family the week before Christmas. We rotate which sibling will host each year with a different theme each year. This allows for us to spend time with each spouse side of the family for the holidays. So much fun.

My favorite traditions include ordering Chinese food for Christmas Eve, I’ve been doing it with my twin daughters since they were 2 and they absolutely love it!!! My best friend ( their godmother) comes over and we watch Christmas movies and make gingerbread houses. I hope this will be something I’ll be able to do with them and my grandchildren one day.

Me and my husband started out first Xmas together as husband and wife with one custom ornament and every year we have added one ornament to it. It’s the only ornaments we put in our tree. Now 17 years later with three kids and dogs it’s amazing to see the ornament change and evolve but they are still the only ones we put on the tree. Every year as we put them up we laugh and talk about the years. My kids love them.

My favorite Christmas activity is Christmas caroling in my late grandmothers memory in her neighborhood. 3 years ago my grandmother passed and as everyone knows when holidays come around They just aren’t the same…. So my mom came up with the idea and we’ve been sticking with it ever since. It gives us a piece of mind during the holidays in her memory she named it “Mary’s Caroling”

Favorite Christmas tradition is waking up everyday before my girls, lighting my Tree Farm candle, turning on the Christmas tree, putting their French toast sticks in the oven and waking them up to a warm home and having talks about why Christmas is about Jesus before they leave for school.
One of my favorite Christmas activities or activities during the holidays. Is taking my children to go see the lights. I enjoy driving around and watching the lights 😊🎄
