I get that watching a movie and being entertaining and having conversation at the same time must be difficult, and maybe she's just trying to get the guest to talk about the movie, but it just seems to me like she doesn't actually know these movies at all and only watches them because she got a chance of having these guests over. Thank you for mentioning Ginger Snaps! Katherine Isabelle and Emily Perkins are amazingly talented! And yeah, they've worked together A LOT! A grittier, Canadian Demi and Selena like that. I think this movie was the first I saw Katherine and Emily play goofy characters. Katherine could probably go really far, but she has a no nudity rule (you may remember her from Freddy vs Jason and those definitely were not her boobs on camera) which limits some actresses. Also she's in it more for the art than the money, as she's done some very gritty roles, such as a Canadian film called On the Corner, where she plays a drug addicted "street worker" in an abusive relationship who eventually goes missing. Most people probably recognize Emily from her recurring role on Supernatural as Becky; Sam's wannabe-wife. Katherine was also on an episode or two of Supernatural, but not with Emily.
So cool to hear behind-the-scenes stories from Drew about this movie! I personally would love to see you two do another movie together. Make it happen, Hollywood!
I kind of still believe she did? Or at least majority.... she's a decent dancer and does choreo for her tours. A few weeks of learning specific routines for a role wouldn't be that hard.... stars/regular ppl do it for dwts. As long as you have decent flexibility and rythm you're good.

She does things only someone who has trained for years can do. I’m almost 100% certain Selena Gomez is not a trained dancer. And those are not moves one can just pull off without having some type of experience. And every time she does a remotely difficult dance move, her face is blocked by her hair or the camera is angled so you can’t see her face. That’s typically done in movies and shows when a body double is being used. I’ve also trained in dance long enough to know a thing or two about it. I can’t speak on the ballroom part because I didn’t train in that, but I know enough about dance to know you need some type of training to do what Mary Santiago did.

I love how polite Drew was being about Selena and her dance double. But I had the dvd for this movie and in the behind the scenes clips they show the dance double. And Selena was open about it to in the interview for that clip.
There's such a tension between them mostly from Christy 😂 she's tugging on her ear and teasing him and they keep awkwardly trying to repeat themselves because they talk over each other then stop. And they're sitting so unbelievably close to each other💀
