2004 Johnson 9.9hp going 20.9mph 08MAR2020

Selling my 14' Sea Nymph with a 2004 Johnson 9.9 hp outboard. This combination works excellent together and pushed the pair at 20.9 mph. The outboard starts, runs, and shifts perfectly.

Just picked up a 2006 Johnson 9.9 ph. in absolutely super condition, the fella I bought it from said someone had remove the carburetor to clean and lost the choke knob. So in order to start it they squirted fuel into the carburetor every time they started it; I guess they got tired of doing just that and decided to part with it. I went online and found a knob for under $20; works like new. Thanks for sharing your Great motor.

She's a beauty. Quiet, smooth, reliable and easy to service. Can't replace this engine today for sure, take good care of it

Is there anyway to lock the steering straight? I just picked up a 91 9.9 with electric start dont see anyway to lock it straight for my kicker motor, ill definitely need to figure out a way to do that.. my main motor is a 60hp tiller, I picked up this 9.9 for $300 runs mint. Figured I'd save sum money and run this 9.9 for 6-8 hours straight instead of my big motor, I also have an minn kota terrova 24v up front for steering and follow the contour

friction adjust screw on swivel bracket. should be on a spring.

I have this same motor been having issue with it shutting off when I put it in gear but it idles fine. Any suggestions?
