    Jimmy and Roselyn Carter touched so many people’s lives and did so much good for our world in a humble way. Truly caring and selfless people don’t come along every day.
    The Carter Center has done amazing humanitarian efforts. They have helped nations, tribes, cities, and communities as well as individual people in ways that most will never know.
    If you are not familiar with Jimmy Carter or the Carter Center, look it up, read his books, etc. Despite being a president and jetting all over the globe helping others, he also taught Sunday school when he was home in Plains, Georgia that were all recorded and was open to the public to attend. I went to to several of these and was inspired by the Carter’s faith. They were very personable and cared for their fellow humankind.
    Thank you, Jason for continuing the work at the Carter Center.

      @@baroquebeatz I understand. A former president is only a private citizen. But they are always a former president, or in Jimmy Carters sake: "The 39th President of the United States" So you can address him as both the former president, or just as President Carter. What i have noticed in Trumps case is that they refer to him as "The President" or "Mr. President" That is out of line. There is only ONE president at a time. And Joe Biden is THE PRESIDENT right now. He is also the only one who deserves to be addressed as "Mr. President" The worst thing that has ever happened was when Fox news covered a President Biden press conference at the White House, and introduced Biden as "The imposter in chief" while they were covering a Trump rally where they addressed him as "The President of USA" This happened in 2022. Fox news got away with it, but i think they should have been fined for disinformation.

    Is it only me, or does it seem that Jason Carter doesn`t really know how his grandfather is doing? His answers are lacking of any details. He doesn`t seem to know if President Carter is looking forward to his 100 year old birthday. He says that he only talks about the Carter center with the former president. My guess is that he hardly sees president Carter.

    • @jackbchfan
      @jackbchfan 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +16

      Perhaps he's respecting his grandfather's privacy to a degree. Perhaps after a year of hospice care there are limits to the volume of conversation he is able to have. Perhaps he knows his grandfather would understand him maintaining his public service commitments.

    • @yellyman5483
      @yellyman5483 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jackbchfan I have not heard that President Carter suffers from dementia. I have heard that he doesn`t really speak anymore. I don`t know why President Carter is in hospice care. But Jason talks about President Carter watching baseball, and him giving President Carter briefings on the Carter Center. President Carter has also said he is looking forward to voting for Kamala in the next presidential election, and he wrote a beautiful eulogy to his late wife when she passed away last years. So it seems to me, that he is still alert, and capable of paying attention. Maybe Jason doesn`t have the time to visit his grandfather that often?

      @@caroleminke6116 President Carter is suffering from cancer. That`s why he receives hospice care. There`s nothing wrong with his mind. He is still paying attention to the news, and is still receiving briefings of what`s going on at the Carter center. He is also privy to presidential security briefings as a former president. I was quite taken aback by peoples hostile response to me questioning me pointing out the lack of detail in Jason Carters briefing on the state of President Carter. Carter gave his last interview two years ago, so he is 100% alert. Jason Carter gave more details in a different interview. There he said that President Carter was spending time with family, and that he couldn`t wait to vote for Kamala.

    • @yellyman5483
      @yellyman5483 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jackbchfan Jason gave another interview where he actually gave more details about his famous grandfather than here. According to Jason, President Carter is alert. He is looking forward to voting for Kamala, and he is paying attention to what is going on around us. President Carter is not suffering from dementia. He does have problem with speaking, especially on the phone. Jason doesn`t have time to spend a lot of time with his grandfather, because he is busy running the Carter center. He has to travel to Plains to talk to President Carter, because President Carter no long is capable of traveling or speak on the phone. When the two of them meet, Jason gives Jimmy a briefing on how the Carter center is doing, and what is going on internationally. They talk about projects, and human rights issues, and not so much about personal things.

    I think everyone truly wishes President Carter a happy 100th birthday. Nevertheless his grandson’s typical derogatory and divisive rhetoric regarding President Trump were entirely uncalled for, mean spirited and beyond tiresome.
    There’s a reason why DJT has become infinitely more popular than Carter ever was. If you won’t or can’t understand why that is by now, you evidently never will.
    Continuing to demean, criticize and browbeat him and his supporters obviously hasn’t worked, but more importantly, it isn’t helpful to the ultimate good of our country if it is to survive for future generations and be the singular light in a very dark world.
    If you despise DJT, fine. But has that changed anything? No, because nobody cares except the haters who fail to see the bigger picture everyone else does. Nor has it stopped DJT from moving forward, even after two assassination attempts fueled by precisely such divisive and neurotic hatred of the left. Stop it!
