These tires are good for rainy days. Great performance on wet roads.

I just bought the Assurance tires for my sedan and it is really quiet! I was really amazed how it differs in my expired noisy tires. Goodyear have a great performance in the road.

Bought these tires and are much quieter than the Michelins that were on my 2015 Honda Pilot Touring new. Seem to be good in the wet. Sam's club $200 per tire, balanced and mounted.

Don’t think so. Got a screw in the tire. Replaced for $20. And, just cause the tire looks the same, doesn’t mean it is the same. For example new car tires that aren’t manufactured to the same specifications as the retail tires.

I recently putted the GY Assurance Maxlife on my 2021 Honda CR-V AWD around 2 months ago. Honestly, it performs really good in dry, wet and light snowy conditions even their tread is solid and coming with 2 layers of belts for durability. They ride smooth, my CR-V feels nice in the handling, and provides safety when I am cruising. Great tires so far.

Gday mate, Your reviews are excellent.. So I'm wondering if you can help me regarding my Toyota Hi Lux 4 X 2 V6 Dual cab ute. I have spent alot of money on different tyres with this ute, no matter what happens, the ute still slides out in the wet.. I am not a lead foot driver and have my family in the car with me alot and always drive to suit conditions. I currently have Bridgestone R623's ( 215/75/15 ) on the Hi Lux and the were suprisingly good in the wet for about a year and they are wearing very well.. but now they slip and slide in the wet. Mate, IS THERE.. a DECENT WET WEATHER Tyre for the 'Light/No weight in the rear tub' Ute's out there? Thank you and keep up the excellent reviews!

Try to upsize a little and get a better tire. Maybe a Michelin Defender LTX

Everyone claim these are quiet but they are not. As soon as you get on the Expressway it sound like they stripped the highway down & about to redo pavement.

    • @CampusautoCo
      @CampusautoCo  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

I think one of the trade offs to high mileage is a harder compound which in turn is a little noisier.

@@imaramblins I wouldn't recommend them. You get a lot of road noise & it's still annoying after almost a year. You have to turn the radio up just to drain out the sound. Got other gripes but that's the main one.

These tires suck. I. Just purchased an AWD dodge journey. Today is a snow day and I am sliding around everywhere. Even when I use the brakes I slide as the wheels lose traction extremely easy. These are a new set that came with this vehicle. Not impressed at all.

The Country were things are made doesn't have anything to do with quality.
The owners of the company decide and request the quality NOT the country.
Many of the best tire brands are made outside the US and thanks to that americans can afford them. If they were made in the US will cost twice as much.
iphones are made in China, most clothes and shoes, electronics, etc...

These have been THE WORST tires I have ever purchased. I live in Texas so it barely ices up but when it did for the 2-3 days I could not drive 15 mph without spinnin out several times. I have about 20000 miles on these tires and every time it rains I can drive no more than 50-55 mph. You will hydroplane slip and spin out in the rain. I am beyond shocked. I should’ve purchased the Michelins. I just got some Pirelli Scorpions that came on a Lexus I bought. I have these expensiveGoodyear Assurance “Max Life’s” on a CRV 2018 and it was a huge mistake and I’m takin them off very soon.

  • @katanapr3

This tires are junk, they are loud, side walls are to soft and don't give good feedback and to top it all of they have no grip in wet weather. I had them for little over a month and I am ready to take them off and buy new set of tires. Worst tires I ever bought!

Sounds more like the inactivity of a car sitting is more to blame than the quality of the tire itself. Any brand when stored for so long will develop flat spots and dry rot as long as there is oxygen on this planet, it's inevitable

@@scottythomas7086 1. Your comment is what's known as an "ad hominem fallacy". 2. Calling the expression of my opinion "thought police" is tantamount to being "thought police" itself and is thus hypocritical. 3. I'm no snowflake. I wasn't offended by the video, but I know that some historically oppressed segments of society could use a little boost, and I don't think there's anything wrong with standing up for what I believe is a better way to behave. When you think about it, your comment is actually doing the same thing - espousing a way of behaving that you prefer. If you disagree with my opinion, please make your case, and I promise I'll listen and respond thoughtfully.
