I live north east of Atlanta. I frequent thrift stores and pawn shops. Most Pawn shops don't buy 360 games nowadays 31:39 but sell them cheap if they have them. Thrift stores usually less than 5$. I think you are on the right track.
I just discovered your channel this morning, and I love your content! As someone who has been collecting 7th Gen, specifically 360, for a few years, it feels good to know I was ahead of the price curve on a lot of these games. This is a great series, man. Keep it up!
Some 360 games are only available physically like Arkham origins and backward compatible. I would say PS3 games will be much more rare later due to the game being such a hassle to emulate correctly.
Imo you're 100% right about these games going up in value, especially when the world is trending to digital only. There will come a point where people realize they've been duped, and that physical is the way to go. You know how one of the arguments for gold and silver being especially valuable is not only scarcity but the man hours that went to digging it out of the ground? Well I wonder when the world clues onto the fact that there's not only scarcity in physical games, but 1000's of man hours went into developing them. You can dig more gold out of the ground, but they won't redevelop an old game. I'm in the PAL region, and so our prices haven't increased like prices in North America yet, but I do think we'll catch up eventually.

Another reason for me to buy was that those were the only copies available on the entire online marketplace we prefer to use here, so it is not a game readily available.

I already own like over one hundred physical game's for the xbox 360 so I'm good. Some I got copies from including that game called "Magna Carta 2" this is how I see things you buy what you like and play don't just buy it just because? Buy it because you want to play it and enjoy it.
One thing I don’t understand is why they didn’t continue on with the “Sega Dreamcast collection’s” ..number two… Number three… It seems like such a great idea to bring forward hidden gems.
HUGE opportunity loss for SEGA! I would have killed for more Dreamcast games! I wonder if it didnt sell very well and so they didnt bother creating more.. but imagine if they had approached more non SEGA companies and gotten 4 more compilation games out.. add in all the greatest gems like Cannon Spike! heck 5 or MORE compilations could have been made if they could negotiate some real gems with other companies
Nice list, got me thinking I need to grab some more hidden gems for my collection fast, was able to grab the Dreamcast collection and 50 cent blood on the sand for $2 each at my local flea market last year, cops are still looking for me also after that one
Last I checked Tenchu Z is still playable online, most online games that use a peer-to-peer connection are still playable, however no one is playing so you’ll have to arrange a session with friends. This should continue as long as Xbox Live is still available on 360 hardware, I think that should be for quite awhile though as MS is still selling 360 games on modern hardware.
Its crazy the price difference between countries. Most of these games i can find super cheap in comparison. For example the first game you showed, i can get japanese copy, cib for £30, i saw another comment about Blur, being $40 but i can get it for £5
Sometimes there is a big difference between PAL region vs North American region prices its quite interesting to see when it happens. I mostly ignore the Japanese region comparison cause sometimes the print runs can be much larger for a japanese print run vs NTSC leading to it being common in Japan vs rare in NTSC, but where it really gets interesting in PAL vs NTSC cause one would think the print runs would be equal overall, like a low print in for NTSC youd think would also mean PAL got a low print run as well both being an english western audience.
The real reason Driver San Francisco is more pricey in 360 versus PS3 is that it is backwards compatible on XB1 and Series X/S. Not only that; but it only has backwards compatibility via a disc.
I hate videos like these because they eat away at my soul when I see a game I don't have in my 360 collection. I'd love to see more of your personal predictions on games you think will sky rocket in the future. I lucked out on El Chavo Kart, and got it through a prediction.
I have yet to own El Chavo Kart myself! Also if all goes well I will have part 3 of this series out by this weekend :) (anywhere from Saturday to Sunday evening)
I would (and do) buy them for the sole purpose of case swapping them (use those mint cases for higher value games). Good condition 360 cases are INSANELY hard to find.. much more rare than one would ever think. Value wise the games themselves will always be essentially worthless, bottom of the pile 360 games. At best they will creep up in tiny amounts just to try and keep up with inflation to some degree in the very long term. Theres just FAR too many copies floating around and no where near that much demand for the commons.
The outstanding one here for me was Blur I have seen that game for 300$ MXN or less( 15 usd) but that was 2 months ago now I there are no copies lower than 40 bucks, this is not speculation it’s happening and it’s happening now

Story of my life! lol. I will never forget turning down Snow Bros for the NES for $25 thinking.. its a bit high ill wait for it to come down a little.. then it went to $50.. i said the same thing.. then it went to $100.. then one day it went to like $300+ and i finally paid it lol. I tried to avoid those mistakes with the 360, Wii and PS3 as best as possible by getting in early this time around though!
Once the 360 store closes on July 29, we’re going to be sitting on a Goldmine! - Really we are right now because honestly most games that aren’t backwards compatible aren’t even available in that store but that store closing will bring a lot of attention to the 360 … I think a lot of people think that most games are still available digitally on the 360 store.
Many of the games have already gone from 20 dollars to $200-$300+! Or even just 20 to $100! Still a huge % increase so we are already sitting on a gold mine! lol.
I stay away from that Era of actual consoles and controllers myself altho I do own some of the halo 360 controllers but I didn't go out of my way to get them. I prefer to stick with just games overall but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have the odd rare console or controllers (I collect the special switch controllers for example and I have 2 Pokémon GameCubes but I am selling 1 soon)

I remember trading in about a 100 Xbox games for about 70$ a few years ago. Extreme good condition, but mostly just plain regular games (though no yearly sports games). I know I got f**** in the a**, but I don't care. All digital now, and loving it. I need to not have all the clutter. "But you could probably makes some bucks?" - Yeah, but the chance is slim and I don't want to bother. A much better investment is just working more or buying lottery tickets.

Xbox 360 will be 100x more popular for collecting than the OG Xbox for sure. OG Xbox is indeed a dud overall.
