- Hello and welcome to a public service announcement, I believe that now is the time to buy PS3 and Xbox 360 games at CEX!
Join this this time as I head to my local CEX store to search for cheap PS3 and Xbox 360 games I need for my collection!
It seems like recently the prices on a lot of PS3 and Xbox 360 games have absolutely plummeted and these games are the cheapest they have ever been, but these deals will not last forever.
It seems that in the last few months the selection of PS3 and Xbox 360 games in CEX is getting smaller and smaller as each month goes by and I feel that in the next few months these sections will get even smaller and thus the games will get much harder to get hold of.
Also at the moment people don't seem to have the nostalgic desire to collect for these consoles and they're not quite old enough yet to become "Retro" and the collecting of them to become desirable, but trust me in a few years time these games will become desirable again and people will be after them, which will drive up the price.
Obviously the market prices in CEX are a fickle thing and change all the time but there are so many cheap games at the moment so as I said, grab them now, or regret it down the line!

I think I'm touching 400 PS3 games it's got a little bit out of control, lol
I’m around 450 Xbox 360 but only 260 PS3, I barely ever see PS3 games but always see Xbox 360 games
@Dan The Games Man, it's just getting harder and harder to find stuff i don't own. Most games I have to order online cuz my stores never have what I want.

@PS2MANYGAMES Wow, that's alot. I have over 400 ps2 games, but most of my collection is in storage, which is a shame really but I still enjoy collecting

It’s awesome another one of the many hidden gem FPS games for the seventh gen!
Don't get Bayonetta on the PS3, it was notoriously bad in comparison to the 360 version.
Also I believe that back in the day you could purchase Darth Vader and Yoda as DLC on the opposite console you could play as Vader vs Yoda. That option has since been removed though so unless you already purchased them then you have no way of getting them both on one console.
That’s a real shame about Yoda and Darth Vadar, shame there’s not a game of the year edition or something that had both so thanks for the heads up.
Also I only played the Xbox 360 version of Bayonetta back in the day so also thanks for the heads up on that one!
Jeez, your games are way cheap if you look at my retro gaming store in Victoria, BC (can never get Army of Two for like $4 Canadian).
Disk based games do often seem fairly cheap on the pal format compared to other regions
Im addicted must have over 1000 ps3 games buying games for ps3 £1 upwards half ive not tride or played
Wow that’s a HUGE PS3 collection! It’s a great time to buy though and doing this will pay off in the long run!

Just a few of the cheaper ones I’ve picked up recently mate from online not to many of these on the CeX store
Also as you love you’re wrestling I would definitely look out on eBay for wwe 2k14 phenom edition, it comes in a cool casket with undertakers genuine signature , etc I gone mine for around £80 from some guy definitely my favourite ps3 piece and I’ve got some real bangers like

I’ve been after Under Defeat HD for a while since Retro Ghetto mentioned it in one of his videos.
Just goes to show how many amazing games there is for the PS3.
I’d love to add more of the WWE collectors editions to the collection, it’s so hard to find them complete but they’re amazing!
Wow just bought legends of war for ps3 for £1 in cex that's dropped in price in 9mths
Nice pick ups mate, it'll be interesting to see what happens to the prices of rarer and more expensive and exclusive games on ps3, 360 and Wii
I think they’ll just go up and up in the next few years
iv been getting some right bargains from cex for the ps3 i find them very slow on the price rise

Yeah spot on I bought eternal sonata for €5 and ninety nine knights for €2. Anything else you recommend is a must for 360? Trying to get the games I missed at the time as was too busy playing halo and cod 😂

perfect time to buy xbox 360 games. i bought guitar hero warriors of rock guitar boxed. basically brand new in a charity shop for £4 as untested and it WORKS PERFECTLY
Ah wow that’s awesome I think all of the rock band and guitar hero stuff will get super pricy in years to come when people become nostalgic for it and want to play it again!

For most PS3 and Xbox 360 games at the moment no as the market is so low, but the ones that trade well at the moment if you can get hem cheap then yes!

Ps3 and 360 games still great to play, I got modded 360 so play all og xbox too, love it. Love that shirt dude, I priced up 4 spiderman games and hitman trilogy and trade in was 88 quid (ps3) fifa 18 and 19 360 trade in good too or did before crimbo

That’s cool that you can play ALL the OG Xbox games, was it easy to mod?
@@DanTheGamesMan not used it yet lol saving for weekend take the mini me lol, may have take a primark trip, I didn't mod this one I paid for it be done, think cost 150, (console refurb pad etc and mod) had it about 2yrs still going strong

Definitely, I went on a PS3 binge last year and managed to pick up most of the titles I wanted. I still need a couple though, like 3D Dot Heroes.
I was in Norwich CeX the other day and picked up Banjo Kazooie N64. It had the box and manual in really nice condition, but was missing the tray so was listed as unboxed!
That’s a really good deal on that Banjo! I spoke to someone behind the counter and they said someone traded in LOADS of amazing stuff but by the time i got there it was all gone sadly.
3D Dot Heroes is one that’s jumped up in value recently! I think one of the more expensive ones I still need is the God of War collection volume 2, that’s getting pricey
@@DanTheGamesMan Yeah I missed out on Rayman 2 which was also boxed, but classed as unboxed. I also picked up Banjo Taooie. It was CIB and in really nice condition, but put a dent in my wallet nevertheless. I think someone must have traded their N64 collection in recently.

Noticed PS3 games have gone up since before xmas
I feel like most of them seem to be going down but some of the rarer titles are definitely on the rise so now is the time to buy!
@@DanTheGamesMan I did Xbox 360 about 18 months ago started PS3 in November. Defo noticed prices going up, maybe some of the filler titles have gone down I think they want to get rid of them and focus on the rare titles as it becomes retro.

I think the opposite. A lot of these games require patches, online updates. Anything ps3 360 onwards has no value like the retro cart stuff ps1 gamecube is an exception because they dont need an online patch or update.❤❤
They can still be played on the OG hardware and a lot of them especially the Xbox 360 cans can be played on the Xbox one.
That is one benefit of the carts of course, they where nearly almost released perfect with no patching required
