Question about fasting is in the book of Matthew 6:16-17 the word emphasizes on the part of doing fasting for the glory of God not to be seen by others. Looking at Luke 4 Jesus was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for 40 days in other words it is important to be led by the Spirit for you to fast and he will reveal to you the number of days you need to go.. fasting is sacred and should be kept holy by being humble and having a pure heart before God as emphasised in 1 Chronicles 7: 14. Thought there are many varieties of fastings mentioned in the bible such as Daniels 10 days (See chapter 1: 8-1) and 21 days, Esther 3 day fast ,40 days Moses, Elijah and Jesus and 14 days by Apostle Paul in the book of Acts. I went down a similar path. Atheist challenged me with questions I had no answers to. It made me atheist for a while. I eventually found God and Jesus again and feel that I can now answer those difficult questions. I think it was God's plan for me to go down the path of atheism because now I have a greater understanding of God and bible that I did not have before. I am closer to Jesus than ever before.

This reminds me of something, a lot of people say that they are Christian, that they are religious, but whenever they say anything about what they believe, they say it as though they aren't sure it's the truth. They always start their sentence with "I believe that...", instead of stating the fact that God is alive and Jesus has risen and will come again. I used to think going to church every Sunday meant I loved God. But when I was completely broken God found me and at first it was fear of going to hell that motivated me but now it’s only love that motivates me to be honest with God and pray to him and to want to please God. Even when I make mistakes, I do feel shame but I don’t let that stop me from coming to God. Through the good and the bad all I want is to keep our relationship strong . Question about fasting is in the book of Matthew 6:16-17 the word emphasizes on the part of doing fasting for the glory of God not to be seen by others. Looking at Luke 4 Jesus was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for 40 days in other words it is important to be led by the Spirit for you to fast and he will reveal to you the number of days you need to go.. fasting is sacred and should be kept holy by being humble and having a pure heart before God as emphasised in 1 Chronicles 7: 14. Thought there are many varieties of fastings mentioned in the bible such as Daniels 10 days (See chapter 1: 8-1) and 21 days, Esther 3 day fast ,40 days Moses, Elijah and Jesus and 14 days by Apostle Paul in the book of Acts. But all scriptured fastings in the bible were done by individuals for a specific reason for and example Daniel was abstaining from the Kings unhealthy food in the first chapter and he was wise and had revelation of translating dreams and visions, in appearance he was beautiful because he ate only vegetables and as for Esther she was interceeding for her nation... as for you and everybody we have reasons for fasting and going throught the throne room of God. There should be a purpose behind your fast.

I went down a similar path. Atheist challenged me with questions I had no answers to. It made me atheist for a while. I eventually found God and Jesus again and feel that I can now answer those difficult questions. I think it was God's plan for me to go down the path of atheism because now I have a greater understanding of God and bible that I did not have before. I am closer to Jesus than ever before.

I am in a Relationship with Jesus. I still believe it is important to fellowship with other Believers. Shutting down our Churches is doing more harm than good.
With your help Daniel I was able to seek a church for myself and God led me to the church that I go to almost every Sunday sometimes I don't get a ride because I am disabled and can't drive myself with your help in my church I have become a reborn Christian it's not just the dunk in the water that makes you reborn is you have to feel the spirit in your soul😊

I have noticed since I opened my heart and spirit and Soul to the Holy Trinity that when evil comes my way, the light of God clearly sends evil back to the demon and overcomes evil with good.
Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me. This is the truth. : ).
