Based on VDV’s current situation I actually prefer Ben Davies if we go low block cos Davies will do a fantastic job. Obviously VDV is really good doing the runs back and carrying the ball. Having said that I’m very comfortable with Davies defending. Imagine Davies and Danso as CB, Spence as LB and Gray as RB. That is full defensive 🤣🤣🤣 If Porto is not rested , it’s also a good option if we decide to go forward

Great point regarding the fixture list this season after Ange wanting more games last season, jogged my memory about Ange saying more games would be better for us to get his system ingrained into the players. Ange was not fussed by the result, only in playing entertaining football, which would result in winning more games, now its only about winning games. Angeball has died on its feet, lets be honest it was far too risky, so now we just have a reserved manager with none of the tactical guise of Conte or Jose. Get the fraud gone before its too late...
Ange being conservative with VDV and Romero is great, its just a shame he wasn't inclined to do this earlier in the season. Thankfully he's protecting Gray, Bergval, Kulu and Porro.
