4.4 kw (4.400 watts). The gain was -6db on the tops and -8db on the subs. The overall volume was about 70%. They are VERY LOUD and very clear. Leave your comment for any info about the sistem.

Hi, what is the difference loudness level behind the speakers for the sub TTS series and 8003 AS II? I am looking for a two subs to TT25A loudspeakers for the live band. However, I don't want noise on the stage behind the speakers. Will the sub 8003 be a good choice?
Hello. For TT speakers, go with TTS subs or at least Sub8004. Sub8003 are a little too weak for TT25A.

Nice setup but I guess the tops should match better with TT+ active subs.I have the TTS18-A active sub and it's really great.I've matched it with two Rcf 745-A.
DeeJay Pajtim That's not a correct comparison because the tts18a is a bandpass cabinet and the sub8003 is a bass reflex. The sub8003 uses the same new amplifier as on the tt25a II and it provides more fiability over time than the tts18a. I don't deny it. Tts18a is louder in certain locations but the sub8003 wins in my opinion. Half the price, only one db lower, and the dsp gives you 8 different presets and delays. To be honest, tt25a ii is loud as hell. I think I would need a pair of thr new sub9006 or 9007 anyway, to be satisfied :))
Just saw that you have the new 8003-AS II.I've had the 8003-AS and I did like it but when I got the TTS18-A I was surprised by the amount of bass it delivers.It's clearly more powerful than 8003-AS.I guess the RCF 9006-AS or 9007-AS would be crazy.
Hello, i've got 1 8003 with 2 Art935's. The red limiter comes on way too quickly, do you have the same issue? Do you think upgrade and get x2 8004 or should i just buy another 8003? So confussed. Hope to get your opinion. Thanks
Hello. One 8003 is a bit too weak for two 935's. You dont need 8004. Just get another 8003✌

You have to have more subs than your tops. not viceversa.
There are some crazy loud tops that require 4 subs to keep up.
If you want to use 4 935 you would need at least 4 of whatever sub (I suggest 8004) ;)
Hi dobix, between the 8003 mk2 and the mk3 what’s the sound difference? The new ones looks better but they’re also 5 kg lighter, did they lower the quality on some components to achieve a lighter box?

Hello. MK3 has thinner wood panels, that's where the weight reduction comes from. I would stick to the MK2 for now.

Hello. H2 PRESET on the subs, and about -8db GAIN. And always run the tops thru the crossover.

Salutare. Mi-am cumparat si eu un 8003 as ii ,și vreau dacă poți te rog să ma ajuți cu următoarea curiozitate. Am doi 715mk4 . Dacă tai frecventa la ele 80-100hz ,banuiesc ca va lucra mai mult driverul de inalte decat cel de bass,nu ? Cam cati db as castiga la ele la 100hz pana sa intre in clip ? Vor fi mai multi de 130db ?

Absolut! In banii lor nu gasesti altceva mai ok. Urmatorul nivel este SUB8004.

Hello. The sub8004 is a little louder but it also much heavier. I love the 8003.
I bought one pair of these, the sound is fantastic, powerful and go down to 35hz easy. The only thing is the gain, in 0 I feel that clip easily, what do you recomend for me? I use them with the RCF NXL24-A (little monsters). Thnks
0db is the max volume. Try to run them at -10db. For the nxl24's I recommend the L3 preset. 30hz-100hZ on the subs and +100hz on the tops.

Salutare, am o întrebare dacă mă poți ajuta? Am 4 boxe rcf 715 MK 4 și un sub rcf 8003, care ar fi frecventa la sub in aer liber? Menționez că ascult muzica de pe TH-cam. Aceeași frecvență trebuie folosita și la interior? Mulțumesc foarte frumos
Salutare. Daca te referi la preset, pentru ART 715 eu as folosi H2 pe bass, cu crossover activat.
@@DobixIdealSound eu nu am nici o idee despre cum funcționează, fac cu totul o altă munca dar îmi place să ne mai strângem câțiva prieteni și să ascultăm muzică. Vroiam doar sa știu cum trebuie folosite astfel încât să nu stric boxele. Auzeam ceva de a tăia din bass de la boxe....

Buna, la boxele 745-A MK4 ce s-ar potrivi mai bine, 2x 8003as II sau 2x 8004?
Daca bugetul permite, 8004. Dar si 8003 fac treaba foarte buna. Diferenta este ca 8003 are intrari stereo, 8004 mono. Deci daca la un anumit eveniment nu e nevoie de doi basi, puteti duce un singur 8003, din care iesiti apoi in topuri, pe cand la 8004 e nevoie de 2 bucati pentru a putea lucra corect.

What would be the total output in RMS with the same tops and two 8004s? Any idea how to work it out?
Hello. Actually those tops could use the 8004 subs. 8003 are too weak for them. 8003 is 1100w, 8004 is 1250. But in reality it feels like the difference is bigger.
@@DobixIdealSound Nu cred ca are treabă Waț-ii ,pt că si 905 si 8003 au aceasi putere,dar diferenta este enormă intre ele. 8004 e mai puternic din alte motive ,nu pentru ca are 1250w.🤷♂️

Hi there. I love my NX tops, but the new TT+ are just fenomenal. They are extremely loud and have a very crisp sound. With 2 NX tops and 2 4pro 8003 subs I could do 400-500 people gigs. Now, with the new TT+ tops and new SUB8003 II subs I can do 800-900 indoor and 600 outdoor.
So the sound quality in the new TT + is much better than the NX series?
These new 8003 AS II fit into these new TT + ??

I am Dobix I believe you should have at least 4 subwoofers and four tops to cover 800 people or more.

Salut. Ideea e sa tai basul din topuri. Folosesti presetul H2 sau H3 din bass si apesi butonul "Xover". Atata tot. Si iesi cu semnal din bas in topuri.
Salut. La ce volum ții subwoofer...asta nu înțeleg...alți spun lasă-l la maxim alți spun la -15 -20. Care ar fii cea mai corecta varianta. Mulțumesc și apreciez dacă îmi răspunzi

Hi I've just bought the exact same setup, do you run from the mixer to the sub and then to the tops? What settings do you set on the sub/tops for the frequency cut off such as L1 etc thank you.
Hello. From the mixer I go to the subs and from the subs I go to the tops. The subs need to run at about -10db to not get the limiter on (this depends on your mixer output level) and I usually go with the H3 setting on the subs and L2 on the tops. When you need more mid-high punch, go with F2(far) on the tops and C2 for less mid-nigh punch (close). When I go without the subs, I just put the tops on -3 db level and use them on the L1 preset.

How does the limiter work? *soft limiter? Was blinking red now and then? Should i really save up for another one one did sound nice up till -10
Mobile Disco Wirral Hello. It is ok for the limiter to blink to the BPM of the music. Just dont let it stay red continuously. I also use mine at about -8 or -10db.

DJNexuz1 Hello. Basically the red light is not the actual limiter light. It just tells you that if you keep it this way its going to get hot. But its ok for the red light to blink to the bpm of the music. Just dont let it stay turned on constantly. On other subs, when you see the limiter light you have to turn down the volume fast or you are going to be in trouble.

I am Dobix quick question... if using other speaker tops not rcf how would the best setup be for the sub 8003mk2? My speaker top has a with sub switch you can switch when playing with a subwoofer... what wpuld u recommend... thanks

Salut. Nu, sunt RCF NX 15A. Intre timp le-am dat. Se aud incredibil. Seria de boxe 4PRO de la RCF este un fel de seria ART, dar bagate in lemn. Suna bine, parerea mea. Lemnul face mult.
Aha. Da stiu, NX-uri a avut un var dar a trecut la VL. Am vorbit cu Domnul Kalman pentru doua 22A II. Mersi frumos pentru detalii.
tt22a ii suna super frumos. Doar ca ai nevoie de basi la ele.
