Around this time getting into the big studios was competitive and hard, requiring substantial "experience" So, a lot of new grad devs in animation, 3D art etc would either start their own studios, or take a job at these "Game studios". Most of these studios had little to no managerial structure whatsoever, with an extremely short shelf life before simply disappearing. Of course, you would work on a "Game", but knowing that it probably would never be realeased. If the game is "finished" before the company has laundered enough money or whatever, shit like this gets released.
Mitch, i hope you realize now that i'm fully expecting an awards show at the end of the year where one of the categorys are "most ridicoulus game of the year"
I for one applaud the developers for making their game piss easy. Normally the approach seems to be to make such games impossibly hard to avoid most players seeing most of the cringe. Here you can at least cruise through it and laugh about it.
This channel deserves to blow up. I dont mean in the explosive way either. So much work goes into your videos and you can tell, it feels so professional but still allowing itself to be funny.
God, since I discovered this channel I always check to see if there are new videos, I laughed from beggining to end, and that levitate skill just looks like the dude is dancing thriller in the air.
Now _that's_ a god I'd worship. If I weren't already giving daily worship to the idol head in my basement. I don't know where it came from, but it's angry, jealous and it never stops screaming.
Your commentary and witty humor absolutely killed me this video Mitch! Genuinely a stellar review! These videos are always hilarious but this one was perfection!
0:16 Dude, i'm ROTFLMAO here - TH-cam recommended me this video RIGHT after i saw a vid of a seagull going into a shop through a motion sensing door, getting a sandwich and leaving with it (and recently i also saw a similar seagull stealing a pack of chips from a shop). I guess that birds going through automatic doors are going to be the topic of today...
Damn, seeing what the game looks like, the raw UI and all, I expected that it's just some student project distributed for free or for donations, but damn, that was actually SOLD to people?
I find it funny that Two Worlds is a contender for unintentionally funniest rpg, but the sequel, where one of the most effective spell combos gives you a hurricane shield full of anvils, isn't even mentioned. It's not like Magicka, either, where the devs clearly intended ridiculous spell combos to happen. Feels like a total accident that Looney Tunes wizardry is one of the most effective things in the game.
I like to imagine one of the devs on a job interview for another company and they go well what are you working on and he goes I worked on Magus. And then just go oh really all the while trying not to laugh in his face
You ever tried Virtua Fighter? A spin-off of street fighter, rpg elements where you go through a virtual world and fight some evil corporations, a la ready player one. I seem to only remember in being on GameCube.
Lol had the idea to put in that timed bit after getting the footage and that's just how long it took. I think if someone did a speedrun of this game their final time would actually be in the past 😄
I got this game on its launch year, specifically BECAUSE the trailer looked like absolute tripe. Well, I say I got it, A friend bought me it on the grounds that I had to finish it.
At first I was somewhat incensed that there's no character customization and that we're stuck looking like a teenager in 2007's idea of a cool hero man.. but then as the video continued, I realized that it was a blessing in disguise, that I not become more attached to the protagonist.
I remember some rpg i played as a kid... It was in a huge box with 4 cds, was 3d (althought i dont really remember was it first or third person view) and was something abot magic and technology methinks. All i remember is the game having 0 tutorial, which made me barely able to understand anything happening and stopping playing it entirely. But nowadays i kinda wanna remember what's it called to go back and try to finish it...
Gotta love the super duper sexy unprotective armor on your female companion, and her Super Saunter that you always manage to see from behind in cutscenes. Not even trying to hide the bait, eh?
How Aksyd games looked at this and thiught ut was a good idea to release it is beyond me, but one thing for sure, besides this, the studio that worked on the game also worked as development partners for Friday the 13th game in 2018. Good reminder that the game already had its support plugged out and will remain online until 2024. Rrally feel bad for the devs lol
Ahahaha, yup that is definitely a contender for Most Unintentionally Funny RPG. If that weren't a PS exclusive I might well have given that game a look just to mess about with and laugh at how janky is it xD
I love how the story doesn't even build up to the fact the player character is a god through mystery and plot, it's just like "speak this password".
Input cheat code here:
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A
"Congratulations! You've unlocked God Mode!"
Thank you for the picture of the Citrus Polos for someone who doesn't live where they're sold
"Destroying them with his levitating DJ skills" 🤣
This whole game feels like a scheme to clean a criminal syndicate’s dirty money.
That's what microtransactions feel like to me. Are whales just syndicates?
@@Deusaga Now i want a investigative reportage about this theory...

would have to be a crap syndicate.. i doubt it made much.. i dont think any judge would think so either..
Blackadder cameo was perfect. :D
This is the best Magus review on TH-cam. You have outdone yourself Mitch.
I agree! 😂
Can we just point out how well the Blacksmith crafted her Chest armor to perfectly outline her nipples thru the metal.. lol
Hey, big nipples need special protection.
I wondered why it looked like her tits were out during cutscenes..
Taking lessons from the Ancient Greeks and their nippled chestpieces.
This guy sounds like David Attenborough doing reviews on horrible games. What a legend.
Gotta give it some credit with the Unicorn miners, that is some creature design I wasn’t expecting and is kind of unique to me.
The mOnotaur? Very unique. Very different.
I don't know. Green was pretty groundbreaking
Zebracorns, surely.
"Unique" is what comes out when you lock your devs in with only a metric ton of crack cocaine
Mitch, i hope you realize now that i'm fully expecting an awards show at the end of the year where one of the categorys are "most ridicoulus game of the year"
That sounds like a right laugh 😂
we already have two neck-and-neck contenders this year, Gollum and King Kong
That TP advert was pure gold. "Codpiece Weekly" had me completely out of breath laughing. Fantastic video.
The only channel that can take a bad game and make it incredibly enjoyable to watch. All love Mitch. Great content.
I for one applaud the developers for making their game piss easy. Normally the approach seems to be to make such games impossibly hard to avoid most players seeing most of the cringe. Here you can at least cruise through it and laugh about it.
The Blackadder clip alone warrants a thumbs up, not to mention the rest of your hard work as well. Thanks for the laughs
Where has this channel been all my life?
HAHAHA! "bum-debris"...thats worth a sub and a like.
+1 for using Blackadder clip :)
This channel deserves to blow up. I dont mean in the explosive way either. So much work goes into your videos and you can tell, it feels so professional but still allowing itself to be funny.
Totally agree, his videos are unique and so professional , and as someone recently said, 'legendary'!
Really appreciate that. Getting excited about 100k..then the world! Mahahahahaha!
100% ❤
Giving this post more good vibes
God, since I discovered this channel I always check to see if there are new videos, I laughed from beggining to end, and that levitate skill just looks like the dude is dancing thriller in the air.
Your editing is just brilliant. Mitch Mandrex😂😂. Great video, but expect no less from you😊
There are so many funny parts to this video I cant possibly comment on my fav bit, just know you made my day hahaha 😂
Now _that's_ a god I'd worship.
If I weren't already giving daily worship to the idol head in my basement. I don't know where it came from, but it's angry, jealous and it never stops screaming.
I've heard the tales, but i didn't believe them. Thanks for showing this masterpiece! We need an HD-remaster!
@2:24 I literally said "Nooo......" out loud at seeing the "Green Ring" enhance your "Green" magic. Wow.
The product placement bit was on point! 😂 My goodness I need a laugh today and you never fail to do just that, keep up the stellar work my friend 🍻
Imagine having the planet sized balls to actually release this to the paid market years after Dark Souls.
Respect.
Just brilliant 👏 😂😂😂😂. Still not seen or found a better youtube channel 😂😂
Your commentary and witty humor absolutely killed me this video Mitch!
Genuinely a stellar review! These videos are always hilarious but this one was perfection!
Cheers mate 😊
That game feels like the result of someone going "Pff, I can make an RPG, too. Can't be that hard"
That oblivion clip totally caught me off guard
Another fun video congrats on 100k in advance, any channel that uses Black Adder refences is aces.
2:44 what a beautiful hymn
This guy keeps pumping out banger videos! Thanks for the laugh mate!

Thank you. The best laugh I've had in ages.
Damn, seeing what the game looks like, the raw UI and all, I expected that it's just some student project distributed for free or for donations, but damn, that was actually SOLD to people?
Magic brownie points for perfect inclusion of a BlackAdder clip!!!!
Every time you put this game in its temporal context I lost my mind.
I cracked up while holding my green plastic mug with OJ when he said “citrus polo” 😂
I find it funny that Two Worlds is a contender for unintentionally funniest rpg, but the sequel, where one of the most effective spell combos gives you a hurricane shield full of anvils, isn't even mentioned. Is the woman voiced by Liara T'Sonis voice actor?
I can't believe he was able to play this much of the game, I got bored of it like an hour in but it seems I missed this gem lmao
"... with the Undead Keeper running towards us like a toddler chasing after an ice cream truck."
Can you say Billy Kincaid?
The citrus polos got me good😂
02:50 "...and his holy wrath of citrus polos" 😂😂😂
This 2014 game looks like it belongs in 2004. That's an insult to 2004, actually; we had Half-Life 2 in 2004.
Man two worlds in its sequel. Have a special place in my heart. They are such brokenly stupid RPGs but they are so fun
Bro that undead guy answering a question. He wasn't wrong but damn all that build up for yes, dies
Every character is somehow hoverhanding themselves in each scene.
I feel like this game spent all of its budget on the protagonist dodging an arrow at the start
This was worth watching just for the duck(?) opening the door.
😂codpiece weekly, an excellent publication
Oh crap citrus polos… such happy memories. Thanks Mitch
Late to the party here - I spilled my coffee laughing!
I like to imagine one of the devs on a job interview for another company and they go well what are you working on and he goes I worked on Magus. And then just go oh really all the while trying not to laugh in his face
Those "unicorns" are nightmare fuel enough to ruin the childhoods of those who died long ago all the way through to those who have yet to be born.
LOL! Codpeace Weekly? If that isn't a thing, it should be a magazine expression of Python-esque humor!
"Infamous for its terrible nonsense"
I mean, that sums up our existence in its totality, though.
Ooooh ima gonna save this for later, it'll require my full attention 😮
Love your vids! Any plans on playing BG3 ??
Two Worlds was very underrated gem....so much innovation in it.
I subscribed as soon as I heard wambo combo
Love the video!
I'm not sure I've seen a more phoned-in, "I really don't give a fuck" game in my life.
Immortals of Aveum has finally been patched up, I see.
Wait... is this game where the recent "Immortals of Something Something" got the inspiration for its magic system?
I think i spotted magus in the classics streaming section of playstation plus premium awhile back, i'll give it a miss 😂
Ron has trouble with even the most mundane tasks, so the difficulty is set to potatoe.
You ever tried Virtua Fighter? A spin-off of street fighter, rpg elements where you go through a virtual world and fight some evil corporations, a la ready player one. I seem to only remember in being on GameCube.
Is that Liara T'soni?? Wow she fell on hard times XD
it's funny how this game looks like a unity early access steam game
Soooooo when you gonna speedrun this one Mitch? You know you want to XD
Lol had the idea to put in that timed bit after getting the footage and that's just how long it took. I think if someone did a speedrun of this game their final time would actually be in the past 😄
If you can find it and get it running, the Legends of Kyrandia is an odd old point-and-click adventure game series.
3:59 S-Shadowheart?! Is that you?
I got this game on its launch year, specifically BECAUSE the trailer looked like absolute tripe. Well, I say I got it, A friend bought me it on the grounds that I had to finish it.
This game feels really nostalgic though I never played it. I think I would have been into it as a young kid
At first I was somewhat incensed that there's no character customization and that we're stuck looking like a teenager in 2007's idea of a cool hero man.. but then as the video continued, I realized that it was a blessing in disguise, that I not become more attached to the protagonist.
This game was just hard to believe.
Missed the opportunity to say "After the beatdeop"
I dunno, Sandra in accounts was a welcome drink monster at Christmas
A true spiritual successor to Oblivion.
I remember some rpg i played as a kid... I played unmodded Skyrim shortly after release, this seems to about the same experience.
WAIT
america, you have "citrus" Polo?!?
hand them over
I like all of those games... Funny is good
The voice actor for Kinna is the same as Liara from the Mass Effect trilogy...
3:33 the divine power known as Circle Strafe.
Our lord and savior circle strafe
2:54 - I used to love those!
I love that you can end the game siding with the villain and it really doesnt matter
My Magus had super saiyan hair
The power of glowing balls
I haven't played this since high school lol
This game looks like a 1 person Unity project that was made as a school project.
Oh speaking of goofy classics you really need to try the Spellforce series.
still waiting for another kenshi video
So I understand MitchMandrex is hitting merch shops?
*Right?*
Omg that would be amazing 😂
Gotta love the super duper sexy unprotective armor on your female companion, and her Super Saunter that you always manage to see from behind in cutscenes. Not even trying to hide the bait, eh?
Are citrus polos a real thing ? Tanks for another wonderful vedeo ❤
Yeah, we had them in the UK in the 90s 😂
How Aksyd games looked at this and thiught ut was a good idea to release it is beyond me, but one thing for sure, besides this, the studio that worked on the game also worked as development partners for Friday the 13th game in 2018.
