    I was intially going to directly head over to the main content, but the initial conversation was really good, I just couldn't skip.

    I have several years of experience using Wordpress with themes, templates and plugins. Its pretty annoying having to update/upgrade files and plugins over the time due to security risks. Is this similar at Scrapi?

    • @WebDevCody
      @WebDevCody  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure, first time using strapi was in this stream

      I feel like that this applies to every other software out here. Things always change and get updates.
      With that being said the updates for strapi are fairly straight forward. You can try it out and see if it makes sense for you.

      In my opinion WordPress is much worse as you are relying on more third party plugins that may not be compatible or have security holes. Not to say you will never run into issues running updates but WordPress and older cms are kinda garbage

    Hey, Paul's twitter account does not accept dms, but can you forward him a message?, I think he could add 100 - 200ms delay to his audio to sync with his video. Idk, maybe he is unaware its out of sync.

    how can u use linkbox as a provider for img storage in strapi

    • @WebDevCody
      @WebDevCody  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure maybe ask Paul on his channel

    • @CodingAfterThirty
      @CodingAfterThirty ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an excellent question. I haven't used link box yet. And if the provider does not exist, someone can create it. That's the beauty of strapi. You can create additional providers and plugins to extend its functionality.

    Can you pls upload a video how to use next.js 13 & strapi with GraphQL Apollo client ?

    • @CodingAfterThirty
      @CodingAfterThirty ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Strapi supports graphql out of the box. You can reference the Apollo docs.
      In terms of using it with next 13, I am going to wait until it is more stable. Since it is still fairly new.

    You guys were talking a lot about jobs (jr vs sr, or fe, be, and fs), but I feel like there's not a lot of mid-level dev jobs available right now. It's mostly senior jobs being listed, at least as far as what I see. I've been coding for 12 years and been working with react for the past 3 years or so and for the last 4-5 years I've been autonomous/contracting, so while I have the skillset to build complex react applications, I don't have that team lead experience that a lot of companies seem to be looking for in their senior dev roles. I feel like if I could find a mid-level job, work that for a year or two, then I could easily be a senior dev anywhere. I don't know. It's been frustrating lately. Any advice for someone like me? Thanks.

      I honestly haven’t looked for jobs in years, so idk what the market is like honestly.
