For me Gary was the perfect blend of feel & speed. Played slow and melodic but could step on the gas when needed. One of my top 5 fave guitar players. R. I. P. Gary Moore
Death is not a fair.... But its life that carries the burden... Therefore Life is less fair than death, so consider yourselves fortunate to be alive... Because life, technically wants you dead....
Haha! He was incredibly loud! When I was a kid I begged my dad to take me to a Gary Moore gig as I was too young to go without an adult. He wasn't too keen but agreed to go. Our ears were ringing for two days afterwards!
Gary was a very talented Irish guitarist. He could play with soul & then just rip into it He played in the band Thin Lizzy a few times over the years but his solo stuff is good His album “Blues for Greenie” is a really good album dedicated to Peter Green , Peter Green gave his Les Paul guitar to Gary which is now owned by Kirk Hammet of Metallic
Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 - 6 February 2011) was a Belfast Northern Irish musician. Over the course of his career he played in various groups and performed a range of music including blues, blues rock, hard rock, heavy metal, and jazz fusion. Known for his exceptional work on a 1959 Gibson "Les Paul" named "Greeny" His playing is always very melodic and was Perfect Pitch.
I worked with a guy (sax led band) for 5 years who played all those guitar parts on a sax in his live shows. It was unbelievable and extremely well received. Really enjoyed this one, JM. Thank you.
No one has a tone like Gary. Such sustain, such vibrato. Not a note out of place- whether he’s playing fast or slow. Under rated and almost unknown to the general public. But guitarists know who Gary Moore is
OMG!!!this is a new artist to me - just so amazing. i love watching your face, and i REALLY appreciate that you don't feel the need to stop and comment; your face says it all. thank-you
If you want listen more of Gary: Red House live, the messiah Will come again live, live session with BB King and Albert King, so so talanted Gary Moore ❣️
A wizard is never late, he arives exactly when he intends to, and... Gary never plays wrong, that guiltar makes exactly the sound he intends it to make.
What a great reaction! Gary Moore is one of my favorite guitarists (along with SRV, Jeff Healey & Joe Bonamassa). I loved watching you enjoying this -- love it when you looked up into the camera and smiled. It felt like I was watching a good friend react to a piece of music I was sharing with them.
Great Music, Great Cars, Mother Nature's Beauty and Wilderness/Animals. Scientific Knowledge. We like the same things. I really like your other channel.... TOO COOL, again.

Most so called guitar legends are well known. Gary Moore and Jeff Healey never got the respect they were due. Moore's The Messiah Will Come Again has got to be one of the best live performances of showcasing a mixture of styles that he could play. For a player, you recognize Roy Clark, and a little Santana, Clapton,Gilmour, coming together with Gary's unique attack on the strings and fretboard. And notice, like most masters,he's not going over to use stomp boxes and effects. It's all about volume and tone controls and just pure technique, creating the sound he wants. His use of dynamics is the best I've seen. From soft and sleepy,to perky and energizing, and then shredding all out with crazies screams you can imagine! Who else could play with this full range of emotions like this, orchestrated to perfection? Now check out Jeff Healey. Blind, playing on top of the neck, with a completely different style of attack fretwork. But he was a great blues rock player. My fantasy concert was to put these two guys together in one concert. They could play their own hits and releases, and then combine to play some classic blues numbers. They both recorded great versions of As The Years Go Passing By. The only other player I know of than could play like Healey is Junior Brown. Who the heck is that? Just another unknown guitar great who plays a double neck guitar,on the top of the neck, that he made for himself. Jeff's attack was more aggressive though. But Junior,oh,he could play Surf guitar and country blues, with a Chet Atkins/Carl Perkins rockabilly swagger. He could also play Zepplin and Hendrix!
Congratulations my friend, you have discovered the greatest guitarist that ever walked on this earth. And that was a brilliant reaction. Thank you. I would love to see what you think of another Gary Moore performance. This one is also live and is called The Messiah Will Come Again. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/7k07j7LcLqw/w-d-xo.html You will see probably the best guitar playing that you will ever see. A true master class using all the skills of guitar playing. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Thank you and I really hope that you will react to this and look forward to seeing your reaction. Kindest regards to you. 😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
Gary Moore is another of the greats gone too soon. He does the best cover ever of Roy Buchanan's song "The Messiah." , and totally kills it. If you want tohear someone who is the father of bending strings and amazing playing, try Roy Buchanan. I own every record he ever made. No special effects, no pedals, just his guitar and bending the strings. Never got the respect he deserved. Jeff Beck adored him ('Cause We Ended As Lovers) is dedicated it to him. SRV said he was beyond anything he had ever seen. Gary Moore called him The Master. But he's mostly unknown except to the Guitar Gods. He was called The Master of The Telecaster. Old School Great. RIP Roy Buchanan, SRV, and Gary Moore. th-cam.com/video/DDOIL5OqvYs/w-d-xo.html
He left the world way too soon
Rest in peace Gary Moore
❤

When a guitarplayer makes you feel like the guitar has actual feelings, you know he’s good!
His voice tones and guitar are a Perfect Match. Doesn't get any better.

Saw hime live a couple of times and was the loudest guitarist I've ever heard. Cranked up till 11! Passed away far too young
Lucky man!

That is the Les Paul that Moore got from Peter Green that he's playing in this video isn't it?

Another one to look at is Gary live in STOCKHOLM 1987 track empty rooms, he is considered one of the greatest.
Another great tune. Ian Moore is also very talented.
Great reaction to an awesome song. The git solo doesn't get much better!
Mr.Gary Moore was a bad man.The way he'd play his guitar should have been illegal.. 🔥🔥
Funny but I almost agree with you!
Gary Moore didn't play that guitar with his fingers. He played it with his soul. Check out The Messiah Will Come Again.
Check out Gary's live version of the Messiah will rise again from Montreaux!
Messiah will come again. He's already risen.
Great review. Thanks!
RIP Gary
