  • We review our second Porsche Cayenne Coupe, the GTS. We cover the rest of the technical details along with the differences in performance and why these SUVs are not just cookie-cutter products like the BMW, Mercedes counterparts. If you are in the market for a high-performance SUV or shopping for an Audi, Acura, or Volvo you will find something to learn.

    That ten piston caliper was inspired by the gauge cluster.

    Great video. So for similar price, the Cayenne coupe S with 2.9 V6 is similarly in value to V8 SQ8. If it was your money which would you get?

    They should change the touchpad AC back to all buttons and get rid of the houndstooth(sp?)

    Nice review. So the normal SUV Cayenne and the Cayenne coupe, which one is better?

    You guys do a great job of pros and cons and comparisons which make u guys unique. Nick Murray says that cayenne gts actually has the same horsepower as the turbo cayenne although it is listed as detuned. What is your view in the horsepower? Do you think the power is similar to cayenne s or the turbo? Nick is saying that they listed the horsepower low although they really did not detune the power.

    Oh good, another luxury SUV coupee. I was worried they were going to stop selling them and everyone who needs one was going to be stuck.

    If I had ten cents for every person to whom sound matters, I’d be very wealthy. Sound does matter. When my wife leaves in the morning in our 2021 Cayenne GTS, I still like to listen to the cold start. And when I drive it, especially in sport plus, the sound is intoxicating. In comparison, the S you tested sounded harsh and strained.

    Ask your CPA if you can use accelerated depreciation on one of these trucks. Get the tow hitch receiver and use it to transfer horses!

    I’ll tell you why GTS variant actually makes a lot of sense. Looking at the base MSRP it looks like the GTS is way more expensive, but I’ve been cross-buying S Platinum Edition and GTS myself and for my spec, which I’d call average the prices where briefly the same and if I would also checked all of the GTS perks that I didn’t much care about like sport exhaust, alcantara headliner or dimmed lights for the S, the S would be even more expensive, so basicaly you’re getting the V8 upgrade and sportier chassis for free.

      After putting some more miles on it I can stress out one more difference in favor of GTS - the low-end torque. It’s in totally different league in GTS, it just feels really punchy, which I cannot say about S. To go fast with a S you need to rev it, it feels fast only when you floor it. GTS always feels fast. I guess that there is just no replacement for displacement.

    When you get into models like this one it's not about, "what you need"; it's all about, "what you want", and whether or not you can afford it.

    I have never seen an active sway bar before! Wow

    • @Dowlphin
      @Dowlphin 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am content with my bigass-diameter shiny red aftermarket sway bars because they don't really make the ride more unpleasant in my perception because they only tense up a little when bumps are one-sided, and that feels great, especially with the massive reduction of body roll that people otherwise need to get a really awfully hard suspension for. (I'm a total sway bar fan, haha. Behold the glory: g6.owledge.de/myg6/oldengine/stabi_vorne.jpg g6.owledge.de/myg6/oldengine/stabi_hinten.jpg - P.S.: Got a heavier engine now, though, so the effect is a little less, but also much-needed especially now.)
