Yes! The garlic was lots of fun to harvest ☺️ My onions are starting to “bend” over now, I guess it won’t be long. Not the biggest onions but better than last year! Thanks Lyn 💜
Great harvest! I pulled mine a couple weeks ago, I had only planted 4 large bulbs since it was my first time but I was pleased with what I got, will plant more this year for sure 👍 Great idea on hanging them!
Happy Friday! I'm glad that you could make room for more beets. Your garlic harvest looks great to me and the way you are curing it is awesome! Could you do onions the same way? We are supposed to finally get some rain today and over the next few days. I sure am praying hard that we do. A nice thing about today is that the high will only be 81! We haven't been that cool since back in April. I know it won't last, but it sure is a blessing to get a little break from the iintense heat. I hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend! Blessings! 💙💙💙
Hi Carolyn! Yes, I’m hoping to do onions the same way 😀 It seems to be working great for the garlic. I’m glad to hear you’re getting some rain finally! You never got any part of Beryl…even we got part of that hurricane! Our temps have dropped a bit as well, at least for a few days which makes being outside so pleasant ☀️ Wishing you and S a wonderful weekend too 💜
The little bits on elephant garlic a corms, seed for the next sowing will take two years of growing to get to maturity, from what I have read and understood.
Thank you! Not sure if I would have the patience for that ☺️ I’m guessing it’s unique to elephant garlic because I’ve never had them before on any “regular” garlic 🤷🏻♀️
Garlic and onion are my two favorites! UNO so cute 👧🏻

I saw a post of a gal using a wire dog crate to dry her onions and garlic and I think that’s my new plan 😊
Very nice harvest ❤❤
Ohhh that’s a great idea too! I have a wire dog crate. Thanks for sharing Maryin 💜

Thanks 💜 I usually plant more but we didn’t have the fence up in the fall when I planted them (chickens!) but I’m very happy with what I have 😊
Thanks again!
Thank you Kathy 💜

Those are crombs you can plant those but they take longer to produce
Thanks Belinda 😀 I have never seen nor heard of them before. Can I keep them to plant in the fall?
Little ones are corms. That is normal.
Leave the small seeds in the ground and let them grow.self seeding.good luck.
Perfect! Thank you 💜
