- In this video we look at a Bosch EDC16 ECU from a Seat Leon 1.9 PD TDi and taking the data from the original map data and use my excel tuning calculator to extrapolate mathematically based numbers to use when remapping.
This will result in ZERO SMOKE in your tunes and will have you correctly fueling your car to get the power you desire.

I made a calculator in c# I shared but I did mine a little different that yours, Mine starts with what CC / Cylinder Count / Atmospheric pressure to calculate MAF value then desired boost including atmospheric, this way you tune from a safe boost level and it spits out the required MG/ST for set AFR.
Have to remember also that on some torque based ECU's some maps are the internal torque and not what you make at the flywheel, so will see torque limiter maps like 30nm higher than the claimed output.
Some things to watch are EGT temps, even on a nice calculated tune at 17 AFR I have seen EGT at 840c
I can often tell when it's internal torque and the figures to the wheels are almost always 20% less.
In regards to egts I've a nice group of sensors I always log when tuning temperature after turbocharger (egt) is one of them.
But them calculators are dead handy and get you in the rough area where lambda maps/boost / nm to torque maps should all be
@@ckpelectronics8921 I believe the loss is through drag / friction and pressure ect.
If you look at a vag 2.0tdi cr cp14 the main torque limiter is 352nm where the power at the flywheel / clutch is 320nm from factory.
I believe the internal vs external has nothing to do with transmission losses as torque would be further reduced, there is a map for friction losses and is around 30nm for the above car.
How i can contact you?
How can I make this in excel please?
Would you share that excel calculator?
you can provide the formula or the excel file?
The excel sheet is available on the website
@@ckpelectronics8921 in which section, can you put a link?

I’m not able to connect to the website
If you try now itll connect.
Don’t use this video as an example of tuning. Very very bad made.
Calculation is fine but looks and sounds that you have zero experience in tuning
If you check out our Instagram ckp remapping, you'll see we tune cars daily with hundreds of diesels tuned by now all making 40+ bhp over their standard power without issue like dpfs blocking blowing turbos etc like alot of "reputable" tuning do.
We also have cars with our tunes 1-2+ years on them...
So before you go talking rubbish again verify what comes out
Thanks
@@ckpelectronics8921you have forgotten many calculations like air pressure, engine efficiency , air density, humidity
And also forgotten about soi, duration and real torquelimit to flywheel calculation
This is not tuning like a pro, is beginner
@@robinliljedahl5259 This is a "BEGINNER" guide my friend, teaching people how to start off but mostly getting the idea down... The last thing to encourage young people to start tuning is by overcomplicating it.
But thank you for the constructive criticism, I'll release an advanced tutorial when I finish the basics first
