Some of these guys just deep throat anything and everything Robbie. I had transmission problems with my Polaris. Everyone does. That's why I bought a Can Am this time around. Tired of the shitty design and the d small issues ranging from a bad cramp on the injector harness to failure of the o rings in the fuel pump. There comes a point when you respect yourself and your hard-earned cash more than you do the reputation of a manufacturer that took over a decade to fix the upper bearing failure on their transmissions. This guy doesn't get it but if his transmission isn't going into gear there's some serious shit wrong. If that shift lever has to be forced there's something broken inside.
I thought the gear shifter was a push/pull cable system. I thought they gave all of you new trannys before you got to take them home. Buble flare fittings are better than barb which is what theyre using if that. I dont know why they settled on crappy fittings that hoses wont stay on. Or heck make them an.

@@Bayne_all_terrain you are talking about Polaris with years of experience in the SxS design in their brand vs Robby’s 1st design in the SxS market. I understand your frustration and hope they resolve it but still doesn’t change the fact on 1st gen models. They are more susceptible to failure. 🤷🏽♂️ but hey he had to start somewhere. Time may tell but attaching A Arms to the front diff on the Speed looks like an expensive lesson waiting to be learned to me.
sounds to me like some pretty big issues especially considering the cost of the speed cars.
Thanks for your honesty, I’m car 1154 (approximately, can’t remember anymore)
What’s the story with the Speed key?
I believe I have some insider info that I will post in the next video.
Blink twice in your next video if Robbie threatened to sue you?!?!?!?
Look building a vehicle is very hard. These are cool but Robby doesn’t have the resources that the big OEM guys do to take the hit needed to fix all these things.
Yea i agree this guy ripped everyone off.. unless your nick olson i bet he gets taken care of real quick.
I wouldnt be surprised if speed screws you over for posting this. 😂
He's definitely screwed 😂
The 2024 Can Am X3 just put Speed UTV out of Business.. Been good knowing you..
The car has been in the shop more at speed than I've had it but I really like the car. SMH Buy a Yamaha and enjoy it.
hopefully is not the case with most speeds
That sucks dude I feel for you reliability is Paramount
Nothing like a production prototype.
Who knew Robby and anything he touches is sketchy. Sorry to hear about all these issues but it's not surprising at all.
So you're raggin on your buddy's Can-Am cause just one of his ball joints on one upper A-arm explodes, and yours has been "solid"🙄😒🥴, but as the video progresses, we then find out that your "Robie Gordon Creation" is literally falling apart starting with a "small" issue of the transmission lever locking-up and now marbles-in-the-transmission 😂 plus all the other stuff you mentioned...and then of course, there's that always infallible and unequalled Robie Gordon's customer service 🙄...😅😂🤣
No white glove extension warranty speed key is that a gimmick
It's a 3rd party company that does the extended warranty, besides its still under full speed warranty
@@duboisaviation2024 sell it get the new x3R bad boy
Kind of the unfortunate part about buying the first model year of anything
I thought the gear shifter was a push/pull cable system. I thought they gave all of you new trannys before you got to take them home. Buble flare fittings are better than barb which is what theyre using if that. I dont know why they settled on crappy fittings that hoses wont stay on. Or heck make them an.
Yeah this is the 2nd transmission and 2nd front differential in this car. It is a cable adjustment for shift lever but it locks me out.
Man that sucks but that’s unfortunately what happens when you buy a first gen of anything most of the time. Hope they make it right and all the guys with speed units have better luck. Robby has to make these type of things right! Hopefully Robby and speed don’t just become another manufacturer. 🤷🏽♂️
No it’s not what happens with the first GEN. My first GEN pro R has over 2000 miles with no issues and only one belt. These cars have so many problems it’s ridiculous.!
@@Bayne_all_terrain you are talking about Polaris with years of experience in the SxS design in their brand vs Robby’s 1st design in the SxS market. He has a lot of knowledge but that doesn’t make his design bulletproof. I think many people where so excited to see someone have the balls to challenge the big hitters(Polaris & can-am) no one really thought that buying a speed unit would be a risk to take on out of the gate with a new design or that the people buying just didn’t care but knew there would be some pain in a new unit and design. I understand your frustration and hope they resolve it but still doesn’t change the fact on 1st gen models. They are more susceptible to failure. 🤷🏽♂️ but hey he had to start somewhere. I’m sure over time the issues and new units and designs will get better. Just takes time to address as you build them.
@@Cinccinatti_C3 I totally understand that that is to be expected but the part that is irritating is the way Robbie runs his mouth and says that you will not have to do anything to his UTV it will be built race ready from the factory. And then talk crap about all the other manufacturers and how his will be bulletproof so he is the one who opened the door for people to be frustrated when he made promises he can’t keep.
Dang!
It sucks your having these issues,I would never buy an experimental car from a small company unless is was way cheaper than the competition, which it is not.
First year blues
You speed fans are loyal if that was my car id hand that crap back. Maybe it was the wait that made everyone loyal but still. I understand cars break but thats too soon.
People trying desperately to get their deposits back and head down to Can Am for the R
Oh I need you to go further in the video I see where you're taking it now..
Oh my goodness, I can't believe you're so positive on the car. With all those Issues. I'm number 1315 El Diablo. I have not seen a review of a car with so many issues. I wonder if you could start over ....maybe you have a lemon? But That doesn't seem correct because you have so many different issues.
Oh crap!
Wow shocker. Not really.
I don’t know why he keeps calling this little issues. Your transmission is shit and won’t shift but that’s a little issue?
You never buy a 1st year ride from any brand car truck bike or utv
Man they are selling a piss poor product either that or you just happened to get a lemon
From what I'm hearing they're having a lot of problems with these units.
A yeah…you’re a young guy as I once was when I learned about marketing. Nothing against Robby (marketer) but the fact is it’s a new design on its way to perfection. Wisdom comes with age and that equates to buying a $30-40K of proven reliability. Otherwise resale value equates to less used SxS buyers wanting your used ride. 😢
"on its way to perfection".... Hahahahaha.
It really sxcks some of you are going through this with the cars. That said, to some extent some of this should have been expected on a new product line. Doesn’t make it any less annoying, just is what it is. I’m sure they’ll get it sorted. Ignore the haters and there bs. This coming from some one with a Pro R 4 Ult.
An aviation channel calls transmission issues small, I feel bad for your students
If my car doesn't go into gear, driving it forward or back a few feet will allow me to get it into gear. Def more of a learning curve than a typical UTV, and more nerve wracking if you are in a tricky position rock crawling...
It was stuck in park. We tried rocking back and forth. Turned car off also. Nothing was working.
It's not a learning curve when the car is just a piece of shit 😂
U think it’s bad now. Wait till speed goes belly up.
Those are not small issues!
Never buy fist gen ‼️👌
Crap can't get parts slow response ugly no good.
Sounds like the car is garbage
These issues are NOT LITTLE. Your unit is useless.
Junk
I knew these cars would be riddled with problems. Way better off going with a new can am or a Pro R. I really hope im wrong, but this seems doomed for failure
My opinion is they need a better support team.
I gave up after 2.5 years really happy with pro R
This is that one annoying type of customer LMFAO 😂
Ohh really Joe, You did listen to what the guy said right? Most people probably have been more pissed off than this guy, 3 trips back for the same oil leak really? He waited years for this?
