Sometimes a field can look fine until you go in with a machine. Other times you can tell if its too soft. In this case we walked the field a day or two before and we found it to be fine until I went in with a 2wd tractor with narrow wheels.
1. We walked the field a day before I topped it and it seemed fit. 2. The topper was already on the IH 674 and the transportbox was on the MF 135 with fencing gear in it. 3. You have 2 extra tires to clean with twin wheels and I had other things to do that day aswell.
There seems to be an awful butt in that field U topped.if U don't get something to ate it the field won't be much good in a few years.would U not get a few old ewes and let them into it.jasus but tis fair boggy the field U topped.
The cows will need waders the next time they are in that field
20:53 - Not really, we just know when a field is too wet to stay completely away from it with machinery!!

Great entertainment, would dual wheels help, your after wrecking your field..love the 674,she's flying it.
Dual wheels would give you more comfort in a field like that. A bit of manual labour with a spade has the field looking a bit better.

It would be a nightmare to try and keep the ewes within the field, it's right beside a main road
