I love the contrast of the brutal accident and slow recovery period with the jaunty music -- always have hope. "Makes me powerful --- a false alarm is still a song for me."

I have to disagree. It's THE babyshamble sound in my opinion. This is how I always lived their music and I'm not disappointed. Thing is,it sounds cleaner than the previous albums for some reason,and Pete sounds way better now. I think he's getting better with drugs and stuff actually,and even if I don't agree with all he does,he's an amazing and talented musican,and that's something you can't take away from him. Can't wait for that new album ! :)
hes like all the great artists and they all do/did drugs its a form of inspiration we would never have sgt peppers if there were no drugs so drugs come with artistic talent
