- The second part of a two-part documentary that was made in 2013, which covers the history of Warrington Wolves Rugby Club, and the town that surrounds it. These films were produced for the Wire2Wolves foundation for their Heritage Timeline, that we also designed in the South Stand of the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Love my club with all my heart ❤️
I love the people of my home town. I love the okkerdness, their aggression, their love of a chat......and this club defines all that we are. PC had it right. For many people, how The Wire perform at weekend ( The Wolves? Fuck off!) sets the tone for their working week. A brilliant piece of social commentary from Fuzzy Duck. Well done Dave.
Excellent, got butterflies in my stomach watching this waiting for the grand final later today
Brilliant vid certainly brings back the memories
Love the Boots story!
thats a great rugby league documentary .. its true what he said about the difference between rugby league an soccer... in rugby league as a supporter you will see your favourite rugby league player out an about int he street or shopping mall .. where as a soccer (football) player u dont .. !!
If you haven't seen our game live.....just go down Moe. You'll love it.
Great stuff
At the beginning of part 2, a young man is singing a rugby song. I am looking at the words of the song, written on a scrap piece of paper. I was always lead to believe my Father “Jack Evans” wrote the words of this song "BALL OUT" His Brother in-law owned the chippy in Fletcher street, and his Wife washed the teams strip every week George and Lilly Woodhead. If anyone is interested I can let them have the full song ,consisting of 5 verses and 1 chorus
This is my uncle Brian singing the song in part 2. He’s my second Dad / adopted Dad and he sadly passed on Sunday 10th September 2023
I'm so sorry to hear this. My best to you and your family. And Oop The Wire! @@MyRimmo
Rip Ali brindle best dad in the world
And what a bloke. He made this town proud. RIP Ali.
This is still the most compelling spectator sport in the world. Nothing competes with our game.
Mike Nicko, Bobby and Clive are some of the nicest men you've ever met. I wouldn't tek their pop and crisps of them, mind.......
cracking vid
