Fabulous video took me back to being a lad cheering on my boyhood heros the late great Mike Gregory and Paul Cullen at Wilderspool. 🟡🔵

I am a UTD fan aged 70. My father said he was the best player he had ever seen. My son and grandsons now follow united and visit Old trafford frequently. So 4 generations may it forever continue.

I never saw you play but your legend is as strong today as it was back in the 1950's. What you had achieved by the age of just 21 is just staggering. You have gone down in history as the greatest player ever from these shores. RIP Duncan ❤

At the beginning of part 2, a young man is singing a rugby song. I am looking at the words of the song, written on a scrap piece of paper. I was always lead to believe my Father “Jack Evans” wrote the words of this song "BALL OUT" His Brother in-law owned the chippy in Fletcher street, and his Wife washed the teams strip every week George and Lilly Woodhead. If anyone is interested I can let them have the full song ,consisting of 5 verses and 1 chorus

I love the people of my home town. I love the okkerdness, their aggression, their love of a chat......and this club defines all that we are. PC had it right. For many people, how The Wire perform at weekend ( The Wolves? Fuck off!) sets the tone for their working week. A brilliant piece of social commentary from Fuzzy Duck. Well done Dave.

Mike Nicko, Bobby and Clive are some of the nicest men you've ever met. I wouldn't tek their pop and crisps of them, mind.......

thats a great rugby league documentary .. its true what he said about the difference between rugby league an soccer... in rugby league as a supporter you will see your favourite rugby league player out an about int he street or shopping mall .. where as a soccer (football) player u dont .. !!

great video,being a widnes fan,i have watched many a good match against the wire.a great club with a great history,wire have had some quality players down the years. you are now reaping the rewards.

So hoping we (wigan) and you wires get to the final this year becauyse what a match it will be , i took our peg last year when u played leeds and she was worried because i was wearing my wigan top there would be trouble (shes a football fan) the laugh and banter we had with wire and leeds lads got her hooked on our game for life , long live rl
