I'm Chamorro, and how I wish the youth of our people were as proud and motivated to keep the culture alive as your people are. I guess It's because we don't know much about ourselves to even care, or the fact that we can't know anymore than we do. Here's to hoping for the better
You don’t need to understand the beautiful language but don’t sit there and act like you cant feel the energy. Helps with my anxiety, depression and mental health. I listen and watch before I start and finish my day. Keeps me grounded and also helps appreciate what I have and who I have in my life. Tell your family you love them. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this❤️
"Takataka te rangi" does not have a direct translation in English, but it roughly means "the sky is clear, there are no clouds". It can be used to describe a clear day with blue skies, or to express a sense of clarity and calmness in one's thoughts or emotions. "Haramai roimata" is a phrase that means "tears come forth" or "tears well up". Beautiful song
This is like a song when some one pass away this makes me cries I love it keep going🥹😔my Nan just past away in car accident this was my Nan's favourites song.she listen to this when she was sad love you God bless you
From what I can understand in what they're saying.... there is some deep words in here, it's quite hard to explain it in English... Some of these words are so deep, that only body language can explain what they mean, if I had to simplify are translation to this song.. (I'm not saying it's the right translation, it's only a thought).. what it talks about, is when somebody loses a loved one and they cry, not only do you see their pain, you also feel thier pain aswell, and when you feel thier pain, you can't help but cry too
This made me tear up. So proud to be Maori man and i bet the whanau of these young wahine and tama are extremely proud of each and everyone of you. Love and blessings. Absolutely ataahua 💕 round of applause to the pianists beautiful playing 👏 🙌 👌

I still think the Maori people and their Waiata should have done the entire soundtrack for Moana. Always so beautiful. ❤️🇵🇬
