Thanks for the biased review!!! I paddled in a crux for years and snagged an axiom last fall. I pretty much agree with everything. It definitely made my Northern winter much more enjoyable and warm. Although dang the lightness of Eclipse fabric in the summer feels SO nice, albeit slightly more clammy. 😂❤🎉 The Axiom just feels so sturdy yet breathable.
I really like the axiom, and agree with most of your arguments… But I have one complaint, the torso is too short… the XL would be perfect for me, but the torso is to short. If I lift my arms over my head the bottom of the tunnel is on the middle of my stomach. Ps. Sweet protection used Gore Tex pro in their suits, before NRS and Kokatat… but sadly they stopped making dry suits.
Solid review, Alex and much appreciated! I'm about to purchase an Axiom this week and you've helped me continue to confirm this is a good choice for me. However, not so sure about your "naked kayaking", but will leave that at the door!
Reducing the cuffs was actually not a cost based decision. This is one where the team came back to the company and said "We want something simple". Honestly I wasn't sure in the beginning, but I've been won over on this as well. Less is more on the cuffs!

Not my usual choice, but I have been very pleased with it. Especially given I've been in a red boat recently.
