I always had loved 🚉 Wagons !!! My late dad has a 1959 Chevrolet Brookwood Station 🚉 Wagon !!! In Athens , Ga. I got into my dad’s 1959 Chevy Brookwood Station Wagon , I saw how he operated the automatic transmission !!! Page 1
So I got into the Station Wagon going downhill !!! I was in the driver’s seat 💺! I took it from Park to Drive and released the Emergency 🚨 Brake !!! I rolled downhill about 5-15 M.P.H.. God provided a very small tree 🌳 to stop a 4,000 pound car !!! I was only 7 years old which was my first driving lessons!!! It scared me but I held on !!! Have a great evening !!! Goodbye !!!
Yes, SIR! I do love STATION WAGONS, and this video sent me right back to my roots! I now know what I'd do for my 'retirement car'...a HOT ROD PONTIAC STATION WAGON. That is where I started. That is what I will tour the world in when I'm done WORKIN'. HAVIN' FUN...!!! Thanks again. Great video!
I'm 70 yo I Owned a lot of station wagons because I had kids along with a transmission shop and used them in business. When I saw these pix it reminded me of a cpl I had.Loved Chrysler products,I had a 77 Volare,65 Coronet,72 Dodge Monaco..few GM wgns,69 Kingswood 73 KIngswood 77 Caprice,78 Chev Caprice,83 Caprice 84 Caprice 87 Caprice, keep in mind I been driving since I was 15 so 55 years wow(.Dad fibbed to BMV)😏
When I got discharged from the Army in 73, I bought a 1969 Rambler Rebel for $600. Electric windows. The back was set up so people could look at each other, the rear door could open from the side or the bottom. Really cool. I think it could carry 8.
The coolest wagon I've seen yet was a 1960 Plymouth hearse. All faded black with huge chrome Gothic coach lamps. It looked like Death itself but was actually smooth and quiet as it slid past -like some kind of apparition.
I built a plastic model kit of that corvette wagon when I was a kid. I also had a couple photos of a prototype '79 Trans-Am 2-door wagon. That purple Dodge R/T is pretty wild.
My collection consists of a 66 Biscayne wagon an '81 and '82 Olds Custom Cruiser diesel wagons. I bought the '66 37 years ago and I've had the Olds wagons 10 years.
I've had 3 Ford Falcon wagons , my first was a 1980 XD, the next was a 1993 ED Fairmont. And now for the last 8 years is my beloved BA 03 Futura wagon. I just love the power of the 4.0L inline six has to offer...so much torque. I just love the Australian Falcon Wagons,
Very cool! I guess I'm the only guy in the country that liked Edsels (I was about 12 when they first came out,) and they make a nice-lookin' wagon too! "Thanks for the memories."
My Dad worked for GM in the 60's until '72. The majority of our cars were wagons. I distinctly remember a '65 Impala (had it about a year), a '66 Impala (4 years) and a '70 Kingswood (4 years). All were good cars, but the '66 was the best (it had a 396 in it).
0:44...Now that there is a 1960 Chev sedan delivery. Sedan delivery vehicles were basically two door station wagons with no windows behind the driver's and passenger's doors. I never knew they made sedan deliveries in 1960. Also at 1:37, nice Caddie-wagon! But the yellow and white two tone '61 Chev "cover photo" wagon (3:21) gets "Best of Show" from me.
@steuarts This appears to be a 1967 Chevelle two-door wagon, which was actually not a model that Chevy built that year. (It did build them in 1964-65.) My guess is that somebody started with a '67 El Camino and grafted a roof extension on top of the truck bed.
I think that Cadillac actually made the station wagons, rather than being done by a body company, as is the case with some stretch limos. Besides station wagons, there were also some Cadillac trucks. HM, among the cars in my childhood: a 1967 Chrysler wagon
How I miss these beautiful cars..
Im in love with the 68' Cadillac wagon,68' Catalina wagon,69' Malibu wagon & that green 70' Pontiac at the end OMG its beautiful.
2:07: Wonder what they were asking for THAT beauty??? Looks like a '77-'78 Fury, Great looking shape! 👍

Wagons are so awesome, especially when they are based off a muscle car like the Vista Cruiser or Chevelle wagon.
Thanks for the slide show, some truly great rides!

The Cadillac ones are cool! My neighbors have a '66 Pontiac the the one in the vid.
@HotRodAlley wow! you are the wagon king! glad you enjoyed it.
WOW! I never thought that I would say this, but that Edsel station wagon with the wood sides (probably fake) looks pretty good.

My very 1st. car was a 55 Ford 2 door wagon!
Nothing wrong with the wagon crew. My 1968 chrysler town and country always turns heads
that's good stuff crazy
love the blue catalina at 2:44
@steuarts If you mean the green wagon, it's a Cadillac professional conversion. If you mean the gold one, it's a 1968 or 1969 Olds Cutlass wagon.
I think Olds Vista Cruisers and 60s and 70s Impala wagons are awesome. I myself have an 1983 Bonneville wagon. I have a video on my channel too.
Great video, i would love to have the '66 Bonneville at :40 and the '70 Bonneviille 3:26.
@fult7612 your welcome! thanks for watching

were is the best place to buy a wagon????
uh..YES!!!!!
What year is 3:02?
68 I believe
What's the name of the car at 1:10?
55 Buick estate
Is that a redone Cadillac hearse?
I would to see these cars original and not modified
me too
Cracks me up that some loser thinks he's going to improve on an original Detroit design. They probably watch colorized movies too.
yup, 1969 i believe...
What, no Mustang wagon?
Edsel wagon, yes. Cadillac? Strictly custom-built.
Sedan deliveries are not station wagons a station wagons has 4 doors and a sedan delivery has two! And no back seat either
2:50 - why would anyone ever do this??
