Muc-off Nanocleaner, Water, a brush to agitate any road dirt off the swing arm and engine. Rise the cleaner off with a hose. Let it drip dry for a bit, then dry and clean any exes dirt of with microfiber cloths. Then I use muc-off motorcycle protectant to lubricate and make the plastics and metals look nice and shiny.
love the bike dude! Would you ever make a review on that SC Project exhaust? Might be picking an XSR700 as a 2nd bike and would be interested in the SC setup
On its way! Already recorded it, but need to edit. There may be 2 videos before it though. Short and sweet: amazing exhaust, aesthetics and sound. I left in dB killer and still sounds good. I flashed my ecu too in order to ensure my low end gears were responsive. I’m not sure my exact exhaust still is for sale as there may be a new generation. I believe mine was originally designed for the mt07 / fz07. Same engine though.
Yep! That’s the plan! I’m doing it in pieces. I have a upcoming one about first 3 mods I would prioritize in a week or so. I’ll be doing more, but I’ll pick out parts of the bike. I did one talking about my bars, grips, mirror, etc. you see that???
Hmm... I haven’t had a problem quite yet. Maybe it varies car wash to car wash? I’m not using it on the tank, but it’s a valid concern. I mean, who knows who’s going in there with a sandy/dirty car and using that same brush before me.
When you ride to the car wash, do you usually wait until it cools off a bit?

Love the bike! And love your video !!!
Thank you!!! more to come
I just use a hose and elbow grease. I'm using chrome polish on my thruxton and takes a long time . But worth it.
Elbow grease is the special sauce!
@@CappuccinoMoto It sure is when you chrome spoked wheels 🤙🏼🤙🏼
@@joeb84 Tell me about it. Dealt with spokes on my old CB350f
@@CappuccinoMoto The Thruxton is a nightmare mate. Twin brake discs on the front. no space for hands
@@joeb84 dang. maybe need one of those wire style bendable skinny brushes.
Rim cleaning hack. Spray a little WD40 onto the microfiber cloth you have and wipe the inside of your rims.
Boom. Works!!!!
I sometimes give the rear wheel a wipe around with Kerosene with get the chain lube off that flicks onto it and then clean with water!
some good ole kerosene. just dont get near my flicked cigarettes ;) (joking)
I really love the bike (XSR). When you bought it did it come with those exact colors or did you change anything?
Really minimal, love your videos man... so neat!!
Thanks!

@@CappuccinoMoto Gotcha gotcha, despite the chassis difference, it was a straight bolt in?
Alex Rodriguez very easy bolt on. I actually got a video talking it bit releasing soon!
Did you paint your gas tank?
I did. Sprayed the tank panels, side covers, fenders, and some other bits :)
Honestly? Car wash soap, warm water and a hose. Elbow grease. WD-40 for the chain and you’re done. Simple works. Just have to commit to the effort.
Can you make a video to show all the things in your moto?

Can you do a camera/mic set up video? Awesome content 👌🏻
I can some day! Got a big backlog, but it’ll come!
Never seen someone driving around Cincinnati, dope!
I love your bike 🙄🙏❤️
Don’t get any ideas! Hahah. Thanks!
Do you clean your seat?
Do you wash it?
I don't have to do much since it's marine grade vinyl ... just water and a little elbow grease on occasion :)
@@CappuccinoMoto I have an XSR 900 and my seat is the original, so when i clean i dont want to put water but is almost impossible XD
Alexandre Carvalho isn’t the original seat fake leather with vinyl? I would say it’s okay to spray some water and clean it 🤷♂️

@@CappuccinoMoto yes it is but for example when i clean it, i go for a ride and stays a little wet for a while and it sucks XD
Muckoff all the way bro... cant beat the stuff :)
