Coming from someone who works in property management/letting agency, it’s deflating to hear you calling the letting agent “difficult” because you have not given the required notice. You literally signed a contract? Of course they can’t just let you move out the minute you’ve decided to buy a house
PS I love Flossie and her content! It’s just a little disappointing aiming your frustrations towards people who are just doing they’re job
Yeah, I found that frustrating too. When she said “they knew I was buying a place.” They have so many clients, not just her. They can’t keep a mental note of absolutely every ones living situation or life, and when they are going to have the keys to the house they eventually find. That’s exactly why there are contracts to give three months notice. Yes, it’s frustrating but if you are going to rent, buy, or get involved in property with a big repayment or rent, then you need an accountant or property lawyer to help you along the way. Or family, to keep you remembering to stay on top of your finances and admin.
It was incredibly naive and frustrating. But hopefully it’s a lesson learnt for her.

This really isn't meant as a hate comment just an observation. I find it quite depressing that a content creator has the money to drop £3000 monthly on a flat they don't live in, £250 per month on a storage container to keep furniture in from a furnished flat (??? why not just rent unfurnished), as well as mortgage repayments on a likely over £1m house. the former is just such a colossal waste of money that could be used far better. I'm all for creator transparency in earnings but it's a bit of a slap in the face for her younger viewers who are facing a horrendous housing market, ridiculously high rent and a cost of living crisis. Just think more self awareness in creators would be good considering how dominant they are on SM
she just stated in the video that she had issues with getting rid of the flat lol. I'm amazed and happy that she's able to have this for herself. As a 23 year old who is in the cost of living crisis of course im jealous but what can you do?? Its not exactly her fault is it, so this just feels like a weird thing to say
Unfortunately we live in a world where there will always be people in a better situation than you and you just have to try appreciate what you DO have :)
just dont watch the video then, this comment is so silly. What does she have to do with the living crisis, she cant change that and she is also just talking about her own experiences. If you cant handle the fact some people have the funds to be able to do this you really need to remove yourself and surround yourself with people who dont trigger you.

I’m not triggered at all. We as consumers of media are allowed to criticise blatant wastes of money when there are so many people facing massive poverty in this country.
