To me she’ll always be receptionist Carol from the Brittas Empire which she was brilliant in. Seen in Ab Fab and Bottom. But seeing her as Elaine and as landlady of the Queen Vic she’s fantastic. I hope she’s around for a long time love her

Oh my GOD. I honestly didn’t realise it was this actress until the very end. I was sat thinking “she’s amazing. So funny. I can’t believe I didn’t know her” And then she talks Ab Fab and the light bulb goes on. Duhhh I bloody love her in Britas empire and Ab Fab. She looks so different 😳
I just love her - a real down to earth star and not succumbing to plastic surgery. Ok so she’s looks a bit haggard- and the make up is piled on - it’s a real person.

I only started watching Eastenders again because I absolutely LOVE her character in the show! She’s bloody BRILLIANT!
Just love her. She’s perfect as Elaine. Great character. People say she’s over the top as though Barbara Windsor never went over the top as Peggy.
