I have a vague memory of the pricks at channel 4 mixing up the episodes and I think I was looking out for the Burns PT2 but just assumed I missed it somehow. But the way they'd jump from season to season drove me mad!
Great video as always! That last tape you showed is easily the best, love all those episodes. I don't really watch The Simpsons much anymore, which is a pity. This video reminded me of how great they were in the early days

I never knew that The Simpsons Seasons and Episodes were on VHS Until I saw this Video. My Family and I had all the Classic Seasons and Episodes on DVD when we got the Whole DVD Set in Late 2005. I remember the DVD Set was a DVD Case of Homer Simpson's head if anybody remembers that from that time.
I was only little when The Simpsons debuted! It was only on Sky and we only had the basic 4 channels, so my introduction to the show was the Call of The Simpson and Moaning Lisa VHS volumes! I think if they released a few more VHS volumes like they did in the late 90s and early 2000s, there could've been: - A politics themed release featuring Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish, Mr. Lisa Goes To Washington, Sideshow Bob Roberts and Much Apu About Nothing - A summer themed release featuring Call of The Simpson, Kamp Krusty, Bart of Darkness and Summer of 4 ft 2 - A theme park themed release featuring Selma's Choice, Bart Carny, Hungry Hungry Homer and I'm Goin' To Praiseland
I used to love collecting Simpsons tapes as a child. I had Raiders of the Lost Fridge, Too Hot for TV, Springfield Murder Mysteries, Bart Wars, The Last Temptation of Homer,Simpsons.Com,Simpsons go to Hollywood,Viva Los Simpsons and Oh your marks,get set D'oh. I sadly no longer own any of them, they went to charity once I got the DVD box sets.
PS: Some charity shops don't even accept VHS tapes anymore. Unless you know a charity shops that accepts them, you might have better luck selling them on eBay.
Back in high school we weren’t allowed to watch stuff like the Simpsons XD the primary that was joined on had Simpsons vhs tapes although I’m not sure if they were allowed to watch them or not 🤔 yeah the primary got a lot more stuff than what we did Even a ps2!!!! 0.0 thankfully I moved to a different high school which treated the seniors better

Thanks for tuning in! I believe there was a tape with Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire, but I could be wrong. Likely just the standard season 1 release came first. :)
Did you own all the original The Simpsons Collection VHS tapes dating from 1991-1995? There are interesting to me because they all were released before "The Simpsons" premiered on terrestrial television. They didn't make it on there until 23/11/96 when BBC1 finally brought the rights.
@@samuel-wankenobi You're right. It premiered on Sky TV on September 16 1990, a good six years prior. Back then, only about 2% of the UK population had Sky, so you either had to get the service (which cost a fortune back then and was fidgety putting dishes on your house), or either you brought/rented these tapes or had a friend who owned Sky TV to tape new episodes for you.
Got some of these for birthday presents as a kid. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

I believe the first year they showed them in order (I had the 'A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family' and was following them along)
Nice. But one of the reasons I love DVDs and Blu-rays is that you can get the entire seasons.
