I know nothing about cutting hair, but I found it very interesting to listen to your advice and hear about your technique. You videos are very relaxing and fun to watch. Keep it up!
You do not have to explain yourself and choices Arthur. People will hate no matter what. Do whatever you like. I did not even notice until you said it that it was gold
Mr class love it. True barber with real haircuts. Traditional and classy Internet will always have people who are bored as hell and wanna talk crap, what else they gonna go sat in a bedroom with no life?
I’m just glad you came back to the barbershop after a brief time away from it. This is where you belong. You’re an amazing barber Arthur. Happy Holidays.
You have the master barber techniques. Thank you for keeping the old skills in practice. It is a beautiful thing to see scissors and not clippers. I think the skin fade is a fad.
You must have gotten a new type of lapel microphone? The sounds seem much better! 👍🏻 Wondering if you tried any wrist microphones? I think maybe the sounds could be even better with the wrist microphones I’ve seen on other ASMR haircut videos. Maybe? And, love your old-school techniques!
We keep trying different options and working on the sound. Glad it pays and you can enjoy it. Talked in one of the Shorts about wrist mic. Didn't work well. We'll probably need to give it another try.
@ The one brand I keep seeing is Røne, and they sound amazing. Don’t know if you’ve tried that one or not. I’ve been cutting my own hair for the last twenty years (ex Army deployment experience, lol) but so do prefer a barber who takes their time and is careful and meticulous, i.e. old-school!

@@paiv4256It may not be many, but how many does it take? Here you have the NYC Barbershop Museum, dedicated to history. And you have Arthur Rubinoff, who does haircuts in the old school style using scissors. Why would he use a method other than one based in history? Who are these idiots telling him that he doesn't know how to cut hair?
love watching traditional barbering. great video Mr Rubinov, cheers from Australia

Ignore the critical comments, Mr. Rubinoff. People can be such jackasses.
You are right sir ❤
🙏🙌
There aren't many though? Most of us are big fans of Mr. Rubinoff and his work.
