Great video. I think this will be a huge hit for Seiko. Excited for when this movement becomes an 'NH' generic version and seeing what all the microbrands do with it. Cheers!
Love this watch - Picked my SSK003 (Blue) yesterday at a local Seiko Dealer in the SF Bay Area. Great looking, well made and another solid addition to my collection. Only gripe is that the "datejust-like" steel band could be more substantial. My older Seiko Dive watches have a much heavier band weight. However, the bevel, crystal and overall watch is a great all around time piece.
Can’t decide on these… will have to try it on and see how I feel in the moment I think. Sadly, who knows when that will be. New watches don’t come around my neck of the woods very often…
Nice review! As I understand it the bezel numbering is for a third time zone. The hands tell the local time, the GMT hand would show a second time, and then you can move the bezel so the hours of the day are ahead/behind local time for a third time against the hour hand. Anyone can verify this use?
Inside my watch dial there is made in Japan written before 4R34 and on the back made in Japan written as well .. I see in your it is missing .. why so ? Could you please tell
Sounds like you have a Japan domestic model, whereas I likely purchased the Malaysian version, which is often sold in North America. No real difference in the overall watch, but some people prefer the JDM version.
Nice watch, but they need to stop putting these cheap pressed metal clasp straps on, and get sapphire glass on that face. Good video though and well presented with decent good quality views of the watch. 👍
Just bought this watch this past Friday. I’m so loving this watch it’s amazing 🤩
The blueberry GMT is fantastic! Can't wait to get it next week.
Nice review Toran! I have one watch coming in otherwise I’m on a watch fast 😄! Best regards

It has already become an NH generic movement. There are microbrands already using it.
Great video as always, Toran! This Seiko 5 GMT is really impressive. Thanks for sharing, my friend!
Many thanks Sanjay
got my black/bue batman/blueberry yesterday and I love it :)

Awesome review.? Me personally I'm fifty fifty about it guess I'll have to see it in person looks good
Thanks for the feedback 👌
I really like these GMTs probably because it shares the case with the SKX.
Great balance between style and functionality.

This is a home run for Seiko.
Nice review and channel. Just subbed
Many thanks 👍
I'd love to see this movement in a Turtle case for a dive gmt.

Precisely correct
I'm thinking about picking up the black dial with grey and black bezel
Good call 👌

There is debris near center of the dial during close up at 4:05 into video.
They appear to be on the crystal. Since they are out of focus and the dial and hands are focused. But yeah seiko QC could be better.
Is this the next SKX?
Is this still a banger??
Have these arrived in Los Angeles? I am not sure if my AD is lying to me. Lol
Still worth it??
Much more I waiting from Seiko 7548-7000 / 7C43-7010 reissue with 7C46 and sapphire
