Oh one more thing. The way these non-oem lips are attached to the bumper in the middle they will distort that portion of the bumper when at high speed. I can send you photos of when I went to the track and someone snapped a pic of me at high speed. You will notice that the plastic grill will continue to get dislodged - again because of the way this lip will flex the bumper at speed. OEM lips are mounted with an extra large bracket. That’s one of the reasons I removed mine. But it does look good. Congrats!
Hey man. I have an m4 and exactly same carbon fiber lip as yours. Unfortunately while driving the other day it hit the curb on the right side and now it's loosened up and vibrates badly when I drive above 90 mph. I took it to two shops so far and both times they put in screws and both times the screws fell off while I drove back home. The middle portion of the lip from where these screws enter the body of car isn't holding up. What are my options now? Get more new holes drilled into m4 body or buy a new lip?
Varun Parkash that’s the problem I’m facing just bought a lip for my bmw 4 series and don’t know what screws to use, I thought about going to a builders store to get an extra reinforcement plate under the screws and lip and connect it with with the other screws as the original has a type of t bar reinforcement but it’s not worth to pay 1200€ for this imo
I HAD that same one. I was driving through New Mexico less than a day it came off. Wind ripped the screws right out of it. I never turned around to go get it. I just bought a better more expensive one it has 20 mounting points including metal brackets too. Installing it today. I don't think it's gonna fall off
Hey man love the show , I'm about to be getting a brand spankin new RS3 and wanted your opinion on how you think a car like that should be Broken in ??? Thanks in advance
Very informative video.... saw some comments about the right and left air deflectors you left off. Since you're lowered now do you have any issues with the exposed areas where the deflector panels were (scraping, etc)?
I’m in the car is definitely very low so you have to be very careful with it. However removing those pieces as not imposed any issues that I’m aware of.
@@BlakesGarage You had the all black front grill (Badge-less) installed on another previous video. You mentioned you need to figure out how to attach the M4 badge. Remember?
Blake... did you reinstall those air deflectors below (left side panel shown)? www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/front-bumper-belly-pan-extension-left/51718054281/ I’ve left mine off but wondering if there’s any issue with doing so. Do these deflectors have protect anything?
No I left them off. Not sure what they actually do I know they do give you a nice warning before you are going to scrape the front but you don’t really get anymore. Also do you think that does to deflect some of the wind to the sides but I don’t think that it’s necessary not sure what the end performance kit does for you with that if they have filler pieces or not.
Blake's Garage Blake's Garage so since you’ve left both panels off of the car, I’m guessing you haven’t noticed any issues with that exposed area now? They seem to cover the lower bumper bracket... not sure how vital protecting that is though?
@@rahulchowdhry9472 For the record, I found this description on ecstuning.com. This belly pan connects the front bumper to the front fender, sealing off the underbody for superior aerodynamics, protecting the undercarriage, and helping to channel cool air into the radiator.

Completes the look. Very nice!!
Makes a hell of a difference
He's alive!
I have an M4, if you open the boot you have handles to fold the rear seats. Just like the 3-series. That way you can load more.
Flexin the M18s while flexing the M4. Respect.
where did u get the front lip from buddy? I purchased a cheaper version and it broke off in the middle part going 120 mph the other day lol

What rivet gun did you use?
Where can I get those wheel cribs?
Do we need the splitters or can we install the lip without those carbon fiber splitters
You can install either or by themselves
Looks awesome buddy! 👌
Did you reinstall the scrape protectors after you put the lip on or did you just leave them off?

Jerry Tang yeah couldn't do it. Switches back to the OE grill and wrapped it gloss black. Couldn't live without the badge.
Simple, you get an m4 :))))))))))))
Looking good👍
