Absolutely perfect, so homey and cozy. The size is just right with the added sunroom. I love the bed being on the main level, and the smart use of space. Best of all, those sweet little fur babies! Brilliant safe dog patio enclosure.
You may have downsized your living space, but you did not downsize your beautiful style of living. I love everything that you have done and are doing in your tiny home space.
This is the first tiny home I could live in. I love it. I like to cook & I can, bake, freeze dry, & dehydrate everything we eat. My husband jokes I could live tiny if I bought two tiny homes. One as my kitchen/storage and the other to actually live in. Being older I'm not able to climb stairs so a single level is mandatory. This I can do & the lot rent isn't excessive either. Another tiny community the lot rent was $600/month I'd buy my own land before I'd pay rent at that level. I guess there's a price & tiny for everyone.
I’m sure after coming from California it’s extremely cheap to pay the $200. Plus with a community of good neighbors you know it’s safe to leave your puppy if you need to go out of town. We have a tiny house in 12 acres but we don’t live there. It’s leased out to hunters. Because we have 4 Siberian huskies and we travel a few times a year. So we ended up buying a little country house in a little country town. The neighbors are wonderful. And watch out pets when we are away. Plus I’m disabled and need to be close to doctors and hospitals. Out on our 12 acres we just don’t have close neighbors or friends. There is no one close to us if we need help. It was a great idea but having a health problem changes everything. I highly recommend living tiny or smaller. But don’t get too far out like we did. We might sell our place. I hate to do that. I guess I still have the dream to be out on the land. It’s a really beautiful place upon the Tennessee river. But in reality it’s just never going to work for us. Last month the hunters who lease our land got several huge bucks. It was nice to see just how perfect the area is to live off the land. I pray the right family comes along and would like to homestead the land. It’s the perfect homestead. But until the right family comes along we will hold on to it. Taxes are extremely low. I have seen a couple live in two tiny houses. You can make it any way you want it. I needed a down stair bath and bedroom. And I got a huge socking tub in our little cabin. You would love a tiny home. And if you needed more space just add on. I would like to see people build a basement for their tiny house. That would be nice! Happy new year! God bless ! Leslye
Your property must be wonderful and full of life. If you can suport it with the hunters rent, youd be the owner of a litle paradise. Thanks for waiting for the right owners. Happy new year!
Thank you. Having hunters lease it was never our plan. But we set at home one day wondering what we should do with the property. As I am disabled and too sick to go there much anymore. Then we heard a knock on the door. It was young men military men who had been given our name as a possible place to hunt. They drove over an hour to come ask my husband if they could cross our property to get to a hunting place behind ours. They must have been heaven sent. They are the nicest men. They helped us all summer. We asked if they wanted to buy the place. But they are not in a place financially with young children and one with a wife sick with cancer. So we made a deal with them. One that is a blessing to all of us. Sometimes when you are unsure God will bring the answer right to your door. I got to spend a day with the wife who just had surgery and is going through chemo now. She and her children are so precious! You just never know. If we are ever able to let the place go. I’m sure my husband would prefer to gift it to the one young man. He enjoys it so much. Maybe God will bless us in a way that we can sign it over to him. Maybe that was Gods plan all along. I just want someone to love the place as much as I do. Praying God makes a way financially for us to be able to let go an bless others.

Tiny house living to the extreme❤ Gloria knows what she loves and put them all into her design. She’s passionate and loves to entertain. The sunroom represents her glamorous life in California. She looks much younger than 72. Amazing house, amazing owner. A wise woman, indeed🎉
Gloria is so cool!!! 🤩 I love that she had the vision to think outside the box (literally!) and create a home to met all her needs AND wants. Some favorites are the boldness of attaching an entire additional building (!), the ample bench seating around the deck for hosting, the enormous shower with collapsible Japanese soaking tub, her son's gorgeous portraits of the dogs😍, the clever enclosed shelter for them, the all-holidays mannequin with Christmas tree petticoats(!),🎄and of course her awesome personality!!! ; - D I like and admire this woman so much! Wishing her much happiness in her wonderful home! ☕🌿❤🐕🏡🐩❤🌿🍳
I would call her a preper - everything well thought out for her needs with minimal space. Exactly what tiny homes are all about. Nice yard and garden area.
I love to see an empty-nester with a bed on the first floor; every time I see someone in middle or senior age climbing into a low-ceilinged loft I know it's not a long-term solution. This is a home Gloria can truly retire in. Very cute and I love her Christmas "lady"!
There are no hard rules for what qualifies as "Tiny." In modern America, for a residential space-this is absolutely Tiny. Builders are building 3/2 homes that are 2,3, and 4K square feet-ridiculously large.
I love her house, it's plenty of space, but the best thing about her spot is the amazing community of people! I live in a condo association and nobody talks to each other, it would be very isolating if I didn't work.
Gloria, you’ve done a brilliant job getting it just the way you want it! Doesn’t matter the size, it’s nearly 1/5 of the size of your 1800 square-foot home(not including the sunroom) I like that you’re on the Prairie. That would’ve been my number one choice… and that ladder… That is fabulous… It leaves room for the appliances and all. And I do you like having the full washer and dryer. And with having so many people over for dinner, it really is nice to have the dishwasher it’s just to get them out of the way to enjoy time with everyone after a meal… Nice job!😊
Smart lady ! When we downsized I measured the space my husband and I used. You don’t need what you don’t need or use. We built a tiny home / shed cabin in Tennessee. So I know how important it is to keep the puppies safe. We have 4 Siberian huskies. I love her home. She has it all. The outdoor space, the gorgeous home, with lots of room. I know her son is sure proud of him mom. When you want to retire or need to as I did when I was suddenly disabled with severe psoriatic arthritis you much think outside the box. And you must want it more than anything. When there is a will there is a way. I remember loving in a big suburban house and paying on our land and our cabin plus trying to find everything we needed for the cabin at habitat for humanity and yard sales, curb finds too, our neighbors thought we must be crazy. Like why on earth would we do that and give up our big house with big taxes. We never looked back. We have not missed it at all. Having a home that is paid for or that is not too much to pay is possible. One where you can retire and have it all. All you could hope for and dream of. A sunroom , a garden , a big outdoor space for puppies and room for friends to visit. What more could you want in life. I’m really happy for this lovely lady. I also lived in California when I was younger and I know it was not easy to leave cali but Tennessee is a beautiful state. I think she won the lottery. I like her even more because she keeps backstock of kahlua in her loft 😁 Her very talented son also did a beautiful job on some Venetian plaster walls as well....
Thanks to Gloria for sharing a tour of her home. Love how she personalized ALL of her space (inside & outside), to meet her needs/preference. Kudos to Gloria as she continues to live her best life!!!
We’ll done, Gloria! Beautiful home; safety for her babies even when they go outside. This is the best tiny home I’ve seen. We left CA, too, and have a much better life. Blessings for a healthy, happy New Year for her and her precious babies. Oh, and the paintings her son did are fabulous!
I first saw Gloria on Randy's channel, I was so impressed with how Gloria designed her floor plan. When he said you would be doing a tour to I kept looking for it. Thanks Gloria for allowing us into your home again. My daughter is an artist to in NY she lives in Rochester. To many things she has done to have a favorite i like all of her ideas.
She did it up nice. Haha, the "Japanese" soaking tub is just a vinyl tub that you have to sit in with your legs crossed or on a stool. I have one, but turned it into a rain barrel and got a regular sized vinyl bathtub I can relax in. : )
Gloria, you have created a magical little paradise for yourself and your fur babies. Everything you need and nothing that you don’t. The property that Randy has created there is a unique community.
Wow, love the set up! The sun room is such a good idea for ppl who need a bit more space or entertain. It's perfect compromise between affordability and needs.
I love how Gloria has figured out everything she needs around her to live a good life. Especially the friends and community that enrich her life at ITH. I saw her home with Randy’s interview and was amazed at her creative storage and organization. One thing in particular is the pot filler for the Berkey! That’s genius 👏🏻
She has everything that makes her happy and it works for her. I love that she added the outdoor space for her dogs to keep them safe. The sunroom is gorgeous! Well done
I love her dog version of a cateo (not sure if I spelt that right)/outdoor space for cats! I saw her house before on ITH's website. I know it's twice as big as many tiny houses, but it's really great! One of the biggest issues with tiny houses are the sleeping lofts, especially when you're not a 20 year old. By adding her "porch" she is able to sleep on the first floor and just have a storage loft. I have seen some tiny homes with stairs and lofts that you can stand up at least in part of it, but the space is usually taken away from the lower level's ceiling height in order to make the home movable.
Beautiful home. Love all the individual details that make this home so special. Gloria, you do not look 72! You have done an amazing job designing Tiny Taj. So happy you have found a fun and affordable community to live in retirement.❤
Wow, this home is absolutely perfect. I love everything about it. All the comforts of not so tiny living without all the excess. Gloria took an inventory of her life and what was most important to her and made the perfect home for her. What an inspiration she is to the tiny home community.
I love the sunroom! What a great idea, such a great place to entertain guest and I liked the storage cabinets. The entire home seemed to create the feeling of spaciousness.
I wish I could have seen the house when it was empty to get a true picture of what I could do in it! It's fabulous for her and her doggies. It's the first one I see with such a large sunroom.....oh! the possibilities. Great video!
I love that she has a yard, and it’s fenced in… is that an option for everyone ? Or does she have a special arrangement? Is she in two lots? This was such a lovely 🥰 home and design. Both a washer and dryer?! Brilliant! It checks all the boxes.
Everyone can fence their lots in and they appear larger when you do. But my lot has 7’ more on the width because it was a corner. I’m instant gratification so I did mine within a couple weeks of moving onto the lot but others are doing their gradually.
That outside space is the best I’ve seen !! And love the addition to the tiny house to give yourself a real living room !!!! I wouldn’t have my bedroom area sharing the kitchen but that’s the only thing I’d do differently. The amount of space is EXACTLY what I want. She’s nailed it !! ❤️🏡🇺🇸
I’ve dreamed of built in bed with books at the head and footboard and a slide out closet. I think that set up is perfect for seniors. Love the extra room.
This is the most complete tiny home ever! She has everything that brings her joy, inside and outside. Not just for her, but for the puppies too!
Certainly not a minimalist, but she seems to live on her own terms. Amazing.

thank you jenna for the showining of this beautiful tiny home it is nice, cozy and beautiful
and she blew my mind when she said she was 72 years old she LOOKS GOOD!!!!!!! god truly blessed
her i love her tiny home.
The home is perfect, and the lady is pure class.
You look happy and healthy! Love your tiny home. ❤
Very nice and cozy. Perfect for one person. I would love to live there.
This is the best tiny house I have seen so far because that sunroom adds so much space & is just wonderful...the storage ideas, the bathroom everything is so well planned !!!!!
Gloria is awesome... her corner lot overlooking the community pond is very ideal.... I heard shes well known for inviting her neighbors over for morning coffee time and her love of baking...
I like her even more because she keeps backstock of kahlua in her loft 😁
Her very talented son also did a beautiful job on some Venetian plaster walls as well....
I love the bathroom and sun room. Really nice. Also scored with 2 years free space.
She’s so grand and I love it. Kept everything the way it was in her big house. Nice! The dog pen is my favorite part.
Thanks to Gloria for sharing a tour of her home. Love how she personalized ALL of her space (inside & outside), to meet her needs/preference. Kudos to Gloria as she continues to live her best life!!!
Nevermind the tiny home, Gloria is stunning! I love the lady Christmas tree idea!
Love her home & the Japanese Soaking tub!
The dog portraits are really great!
This house was built with love.
Wow! I never thought of adding a SUNROOM! I love that idea!
Living her dream🙌🏼! “My Lady” is a gorgeous art-piece that I keep rewinding to see again. So Beautiful❤
This has to be the perfect set up!!! The only thw I would change is to make the sun room my art studio ❤❤❤❤
She has a lovely home. Thanks Jenna for sharing her story.❤
She has everything that makes her happy and it works for her. I love that she added the outdoor space for her dogs to keep them safe. The sunroom is gorgeous!
Well done
Randy Jones has done so much for alot of people. Gloria home is incredible her son building the sunporch on it is fantastic.
My son did work on the inside. A friend built sunroom
Jenna so glad you found Incredible Tiny Homes. 2023 will be the move to Newport TN into a tiny house.
She is happy...in her own space and has everything she wants and needs well done ...👍😊
The sunroom and outdoor areas are great + affordable $200 lot rent, wow! Great find.
I've seen this home before on the ITH channel. She's got that tiny home PACKED with everything she loves.
Gloria has created a wonderful home for herself. I love everything about it!
very cool space for a cool person. I never would guessed she was in her 70s, got a lotta spunk.
She looks good for 72. At 72 my grandparents couldn't go up and down ladders. I am glad she has created her paradise.
Great she kept her favorite furniture and made the sunroom expansion.
She has an amazing setup!! Very luxurious, she didn't compromise. What a great life! Nothing is better than having friends. Great lady!
This is the kind of tiny house I would love! The big living room is just what I need!
LOVE how the floor-plan and storage was so well thought out and designed! By far one of the top best tiny videos I have ever seen.
Love her land set-up
Outstanding house. Extraordinary design. Inspiring.
Gloria. Your home is lovely!! Wow!! 😍😍 All the best to you!
Seriously awesome lady and a seriously awesome home and garden! 👍😎🇨🇦🐾🐾
Can I say how great you look for 72. Your house is beautiful you have done a wonderful job making it comfortable.
I’ve dreamed of built in bed with books at the head and footboard and a slide out closet. I think that set up is perfect for seniors. Love the extra room.
This is my favorite tiny home I have ever seen! She really made it work, and she is adorable!
Love her design! She uses every part of her home with only the size she needs.
Gloria has a grand space for good gatherings with great guests !
