The next generation Adam Drake. Always willing to take time even at big races where he earns his money. True example of what an RC pro should be. I’ll always root for Tessman and Drake for those reasons.
I did not get to thank Gord and Ty b4 leaving DNC. They came to Revelation Raceway and let us drive his car and spent the whole day talking shop. Good guys. THANKS!
You and your dad’s video about tuning are really easy to understand and super helpful. I’m pretty new to nitro and my dad does most of the tuning for me because of his experience but I’m a quick learner and I’m starting to notice how the car reacts to the tune. I might start tuning my engine on my own and these videos are super helpful and allow me to know what to listen for and what to feel for when tuning and driving. Thank you
hello sir Ty happy and grateful for your video, I have acquired an fx K505 and I already did all the shooting, it is possible that you advise me on the measure to adjust all the needles thank you very much!!!
Thanks so much for that info im still kind of a rookie still hahaha.. my losi has a bogey sound i think now its the mid I have to adjust.. but that dynamite carb sucks right 😅.. thank again
Idk why but I find people in the comments tell a professional world champion with years and years of experience how to do their job pretty funny. Gotta love the know-it-alls

So true. He does not talk much but he is polite and to the point.
I have the same car and engine… really helpful to have this videos. Will try to tuning mine tomorrow. Thanks Ty. 👍

The sound of nitro, the sound of RC cars... 👍🔥‼️💯🏁🏎️🤓🇫🇷
Absolute with you on that. 👍 nitro gives me the most out of rc.
Great job on the Syco Nitro Nationals
Sorry I got rid of mine now. It was frustrating learning, tuning and brakes and clutch. Sadly have no money now. Would love to to try a Xray. Cheers
That engine sounds fast. Very nice.
Great tip. Thank you

Are you going to make it to Edmonton RCRE "Oil City Dash", early June? Should be on Tier 2 lockdown 50 allowed outside events by then :)
So it's best to tune the engine with the body on like you would with touring car?
Hy ty! How is the idle gap (in milimiters) for the k303 fx engine? Regards from Argentina.
I’d assume around 0.5mm
Hi Ty! What idle gap you are suggesting for k301EC ?
when tuning each step, are you tuning at half tank or a bit above half tank? Thanks for the great videos man!!!
Pleased do tuning video on tracks
can so one do a video on a engine that it way rich on bottom say factory settings to a good tune on a 3 needle as always thanks TY
hello Ty, do you keep engine temperature in some specific range?
Good video
What about the idle gap?
what use oil?
How are the FX engines
new subscriber here..
You guys really let the engine scream on the bench. I’m always nervous of continuous bench tuning and all those free revs
There is a video on here of nova rosi break in their engines wide open for like 10 minutes.
Sounds like an animal lol I could never get mine tuned that good

There is something on your chin !!!!
Topend tuning, needs to be done on the track, not on a starterbox. This is killing a engine.
