We do not take responsibility for what happens in this world. Bettering ourselves and our morals is number 1. Without integrity the whole fabric of society is in decay! This is what is happening as we speak! If people want freedom, they have to humble themselves and honor the people who have fought for all of our rights in the past! People died for us and worse! I love it. I’ve said myself that I believe mostly what drives Trumpers is racism but I love how Marianne doesn’t allow us to negate the fact that economic insecurities coupled with racist propaganda can also be driving white ppl’s fear that minority ppl are the cause of my economic insecurities and therefore, the driver of what looks like racism, for some, might actually stem from the eco insecurities.

In this inverview there are some obvious personal bias so pronounced in this interview that I was devastatingly disappointed. As much as I used to love Marianne, I feel anyone promoting reparations does a huge disservice to core values of spirituality… in that she is financially incentivizing humans to focus on and search for their victimhood and continue a constant conversation on skin color and oppression. Deep spirituality teaches us to unshackle ourselves from the past… not get paid to victimize ourselves to it.
actually, there is a huge difference in absorbing ukrainian or yemeni refugees: the ukrainians will assimilate quickly and easily. from tons of experience, the yemenis aren't likely to assimilate in even the 2nd generation. the receiving countries pay tons to take in refugees from many places. they won't need to pay a fraction of that to help the ukrainians settle in.
