Pretty amazing. Check it out and watch for difficulties that the creators of this clock encounter.

Poor Zophia, she must be the kind of player who keeps her promoted units in her base out of fear of losing them. Gotta love those Boris voice lines though, it feels odd having your units address someone directly in RA2. I've always wondered why the Allied campaign feels so... stale when compared to the Soviet one. In the very first Soviet mission we have quite a lot of interesting stuff, while in the Allied one, you don't even have to do anything other than sell your buildings and send Tanya to go blow up the Dominator or herself. Either way, looking forward to the Soviet campaign.
Fighting for the "bad guys" is admittedly more awesome in video games. Proof? Just play games like Star Wars: TIE Fighter, the first and last Jedi Knight games, and Empire at War, the Tiberium games with Nod (obviously), CRPGs like Planescape: Torment, the Neverwinter Nights duology, Jade Empire, and Tyranny, and the Orcs, Undead, and Zerg in the Warcraft and StarCraft games.

I think its because they wanted to give players satisfaction out of playing as the bad guys While with the Allies the satisfaction comes from relatively high-stake story, by playing with a faction who wants to save the world from Yuri, as Soviets it's much more goofy because normally they'd be treated as bad guys as well and I guess to compensate they wanted it to be more fun instead and not it be a flat out story about bad guys doing bad stuff
The YR missions are harder than you'd expect. Not harder in terms of gameplay difficulty, harder in terms of scripting and figuring out what happens when. The fact is that triggers in YR missions are far more interconnected than the ones in the RA2 missions. In RA2 you have one trigger enabling others in a chain, with at most another trigger or two as "alternative starters" for the chain, if at all. In YR you might have one trigger for start up, but then things quickly evolve into chains within a circle, and those chains are interconnected. It'd take a while to look at it all properly; time I don't have at the moment. Sorry :(
Here is a secret you should try in yuri revenge soviet mission 2, If you capture Einstein lab instead of destroying it, you will unlock the chronosphere in the last mission. But if you destroy it, The chronosphere will be unavailable.

Mate, if you managed to complete the epic Yuri boss battle in the base game Soviet campaign, you should find the YR campaigns easier than the entirety of Red Alert 3's campaigns, and those can be completed by a child who hasn't touched a video game before... Also, what is it with all the Soviet hate? I get the "Freedom good, communism bad", but it isn't implied anywhere in RA2 or YR that the Soviets are as bad as they were in real life. All the war crimes committed are up to the player's choice (plus you can do them as the Allies too) and when you compare that to how they, and the US, were irl and suddenly it doesn't seem all that bad. Especially when compared to Yuri.

Despite what people might say, RA3's lore is far more in-depth and the war makes a lot more sense, meaning that it is much easier to decide on who upholds what ideas and who is probably correct, while in RA2 both sides are kind of just... bland in comparison. I guess we have Yuri as the "universally bad guy", especially when looking at some of his weapons and machines of war, but that's about it. And yeah, RA3's campaign was super easy, the difficulty level didn't really change much and your AI co-commander would usually do all the heavy lifting while you cleaned up the enemy.

Well you have a point there, because it does actually match little bit of RA as well, I think that Dune 2000 is much harder to play The first missions 1-3 are easy, like couple minutes to do it, the middle 4-6 are challenging, but tougher to beat from 30 minutes to 1 or 2 hours and last three 7-9 are almost unrealistic, but possible to beat if you know the AI tactics well, then it takes around 2-5 hours max to beat.

Out of curiosity I tried to destroy the damaged Nuclear Reactor at the beginning of the mission. It's difficult, but possible, by baiting the Gatling Cannons with the Sea Scorpions (as they get replenished if you lose them all). But it does absolutely nothing, the Cannons are online even after destroying the Reactor.
All my times playing the game I don't know why I don't remember the "Boris Revived" conversation. It's awesome to learn things about a game you think you've 'mastered'.
