That crf looks good, excited to see you put in some work at the lot with that thing
When they get hard to start the valves are tight so u need to spend a little money on it and also do a compression test it may need piston and rings
He just needs a shim kit and adjust the valves not costly
The 150's are just like that every one I've ridden Is hard to start
With the 150r I would warm it up till the u can feel it pretty warm where it says unicam befor u start ripping it
150s are beasts. Crf 150s are MONSTERS. Great video 👍
Owned one. They race in the 2 stroke 85 class. No need to shift as much as a two stroke.
You don’t have to clutch it while shiftin up do you ? It’s got a racing gear box shifter in you don’t need the clutch when shifting up only to pull off

homie i don't even need to try to convert you. When I got a crf450r supermoto I ripped it, repaired it and ripped it some more, easy living. Bought an 18 Honda cbr1000rr sp and I've never looked back. Team Honda for life or until convinced otherwise. Looks like it'll be a long life. Love.
I am 36yrs old and bought a used Crf150rb last November, it is my very first Racingbike and I love it, but it's kinda small to me and having a hard time using it on the racetrack.
I'm 39 years old and had my first bike 2 years ago, it was an old 2001 honda 100r but ran like new. Wish I had the money to get a 150 but hope some day. 🤙
crf150 is closer to a 85 2stroke and the timer will be from the last rebuild
150r would smoke any 85 though.

7:18 in '07 they stopped producing cr85 and started with crf150 so you can compare the size of this bike to an 85, sorry if i'm wrong

You going to be a Honda boy from now on trust me.. there is nothing like the fit and finish of a Honda.
Also remember engine and transmission oil are separate on this engine.
The hour meter has a total time and a resettable service time.. if total is 10.3 it’s either 10.3 hours old or 10.3 since last rebuild but since it’s a 2018 if it was used for motocross that frame wear could be 10 hours from new.

To check the spokes take a screwdriver and hit it if it makes a wing like a ping you’re good if not if it sound dead they are loose and if they are loose to where you can move it you’re fucked
