Just started investigating resin. You have a great presentation style. Clear, concise, and well paced. Appreciate all of the safety points as well! Cat hair, the bane of my existence ☺

Oh, you will really appreciate the upgrade to the small CA air tools compressor! Sooo quiet you can have a normal volume convo standing over it.

Great advice, thank you so much. Alchemist’s Attic is such an inspiration, love dice!

The California Air Tools compressor is great! It really is quiet and holds pressure really well

Awesome! Yeah, I might have to switch to that at some point, lol

Great intro video. Instead of a pressure pot during curing I use the resiners airless bubble remover machine to get bubbles out before I pour. It doesn't combat some of the microbubbles you can get in the points of the die but works pretty good. But its a great and cheaper option to remove bubbles in other things you make with resin.

I've never heard of that before- that sounds like a cool alternative!

Your dice are always so beautifully shiny! Also Keith recently got a super quiet air compressor. I can ask him what brand he got locally. With the E6000, I'd even go as far as possibly using some sort of mask or lots of ventillation with that, too. I eventually gained an allergy to it while I was making hair clips and rings, and had to switch to clear Gorilla Glue.

I'd be interested to know which one he's using, yeah :). And good to know on the E6000! I mostly use clear gorilla glue myself.

I'm glad you made this video! I might be getting ahead of your videos, but how do you clean your silicone mixing cups? I have the same set of beakers as you, and my small beakers end up with leftover resin and hardener in them respectively. I've been letting them dry out and clean them up with acetone, but I hope there's a better way to handle that. Thanks in advance! Great video!

I pour my resin and hardener into the same mixing cup, so usually I just have cured resin in it by the end, which I can peel out or take packing tape to to get off. I'm not as sure for uncured resin- I didn't expect it to work, but we tried just warm soapy water once and that seemed to work fine. I've heard of someone taking a toothbrush and warm soapy water to their mixing cups that have cured resin in them, too, but I have yet to try that method yet, myself.

Hi. I just subscribed last week. Love your channel. I have a question that I cannot find the answer to. Which dice are better and why... sharp edged dice or smooth (rounded edge dice like Chessex)?

I think it just comes down to personal preference, really. I did ask around and it sounds like the rounded edge dice are more limited in the kinds of molds you can make, which may be why there's more sharp edge handmade dice.

I wish I knew everything at beginning, I`ll never go for a dice making
