Every once and a while there comes a song that hits you at just right moment; Dust was that song for me....my aunt, second mom, was on her death bed and I heard Dust....it doesn't matter if it's about something else, there were words that kicked me and emptied the tear ducts. I heard this song, for the first time, just a few weeks before she died, it made me think of her and her life. A few weeks later I was cooking dinner, looked at the clock (it was about 4:40pm) and just happened to be listening to Dust...a few hours later my cousin called and said my aunt has passed away....at the same time I was listening to this song. I apologize, but writing this through a lot of tears!!!
what makes Mark a great guitar player to me, is that when listening to him play, you can feel it!!! There's a ton of great guitar players, but very few play with such emotion, especially in heavy metal.
On a serious note, this is an amazing live performance, so many bands go out now and lip sync, but this guy was raised on metal and knows the importance of a pure live show..... They kill it, flat out, always do, a fuck ton of talent.
Such a damn good song.....so happy to see Tremonti doing his thing....and his voice as become amazing...Creed, Alter Bridge, and now Tremonti.....amazing with all 3
His voice always strains a bit by the end of this song, but this was probably one of the best performances I've heard of it. Very well done. One of my all time favorite songs. Tremonti is beast.
2 years later but I was there and still remember it perfectly. He couldn't speak in the meet and greet after as his voice was fucked. He apologised before the gig saying his voice was in bits.
I think he's better now when it comes to that, but he could definitely use some vocal lessons, his voice is amazing, he has great vibrato and timbre, so with training he would certainly improve his consistency, safety and even range, that's the only thing he needs so he doesn't blow himself out.
@@sergiomiguelreis9188 Idk, as a baritone myself I can confirm this song is crazy hard to sing for his range, mark said he Is always taking lessons, and the newer live versions of dust (and others songs) are a half-step down, so he's doing what he can I guess, I mean, there's always room for improvement, but these performances will always be very hard.
Yeah I was gutted It wasn't, also unable to see would have been a good number. My only guess is keeping that tempo solid throughout whilst playing all the hits from previous albums
I admit that Mark is absolutely brilliant on his own, but he is a vital member of Alter Bridge, and I think Myles, Scott, and Brian perfectly complement his vocals and guitar skills. Alter Bridge's chemistry is absolutely amazing
This is not Alter Bridge, the other guitarist isn't Myles either(but he looks like him though). Mark has a "solo" band, like his own project and he has Alter Bridge with Myles, Scott and Brian, a different project/band.
I would be embarrassed to play with this guy he's soo good at guitar i would feel puny lol only wish i canbe as good as him and make as good as solos and songs as him !
Man, every video I watch of him he's incredible, except when he tries to sing the A above middle C. I just thought it was because he was having trouble hearing himself over the band. But it was just him and his guitar at the beginning, and he still couldn't hit it. Sure he hits it just fine on the record, but maybe there's a reason for that. I don't want to say he uses pitch-correction in the studio, cuz this guy is my hero. But if the shoe fits, ya know? Otherwise his voice sounds stellar.
Touring and playing live are hard. Being consistent every night is harder. I have no doubt he sang in studio, but on the road is a different animal. Just my thoughts. -K
I'm no singer but i reckon its easier to push your self in the studio. Live its maybe more stress with the likes of controlling your breathing playing his guitar and other things. That and Mark has a lower register than a lot of singer which i love. He has said before his approach is a bit more caveman, more aggressive etc \M/

The Whole Damn Thing Is Turn To Dust. This is the best Tremonti Live Recording ever!
He has his voice so impoved since the first shows of the tour, fantastic!
this is outstanding, video quality, sound quality and just a brilliant song.
Such a damn good song.....so happy to see Tremonti doing his thing....and his voice as become amazing...Creed, Alter Bridge, and now Tremonti.....amazing with all 3
One of those songs that will forever be on the favorites playlist.

is there anything Mark can't do?? best musician breathing by far
The "stop" on 4:28 remebers "Isolation" from Alter Bridge. Nice touch, along with the bass drop on 1:37
At 3:40 my head exploded!!! WTF good god, or I should say god is good!!! (; Thanks for the wake up~
Keep revisiting this video. I booked the guitar lesson/rig rundown with mark before hand but the concert blew me away. So much passion its crazy.
Wicked voice.
Me and my friend at work were talking about how mark was limited in creed. And it shows in his own band. And in AlterBridge
I'm in love with mark tremonti💗Everything about him. He rocks too!
Why did you head out….? No idea, but this tune is about vas good as tunes get 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻😎
Superbly done by Mark and his team, Mark you're the best
Absolute killer show, Mark tore Irish hearts out with pure melodic heavy riffs song after song cheers for the videos NI Rocks \m/
Speaking of hearts torn out, I wonder why "Tore My Heart Out" wasn't on the set list? That is my favorite, followed closely by this one, on the album.
Yeah I was gutted It wasn't, also unable to see would have been a good number. My only guess is keeping that tempo solid throughout whilst playing all the hits from previous albums
Waterkant Hamburg Shirt 💪💪💪 Tremonti is best

TealLink Give him time he's only been singing for under 10 years where both Scott and Myles for almost 20

Same and i live near belfast -_- Wouldve loved to see them haha
Tremonster
Wonder why Eric has two EVHs? I only see the one cab, both on different channels too.
I was side of stage at the glasgow gig, he uses one for dirty and one for clean, and uses a radial to switch between them
tremonti aswesome and u are better alone without creed or after
I admit that Mark is absolutely brilliant on his own, but he is a vital member of Alter Bridge, and I think Myles, Scott, and Brian perfectly complement his vocals and guitar skills. Alter Bridge's chemistry is absolutely amazing
2024🤘
Solo aos 3:42
need a singer
Who's the bass player? Wolfgang?
It isn't wolfgang, but I don't know who is him :s
It isn't Wolfgang, he had to tour with Van Halen. That's Tanner Keegan filling in on tour for Wolfie.
Tanner Keegan is the touring bassist
what happened to Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall?
This is not Alter Bridge, the other guitarist isn't Myles either(but he looks like him though). Mark has a "solo" band, like his own project and he has Alter Bridge with Myles, Scott and Brian, a different project/band.
I would be embarrassed to play with this guy he's soo good at guitar i would feel puny lol only wish i canbe as good as him and make as good as solos and songs as him !
skull222k Eric Friedman is just as good as Mark, he's got a bluesier style.
skull222k I hear ya. He makes playing guitar look soooooo easy. He is a machine no doubt

He can do a couple takes when he's in the studio. Live he has to nail it the first time.
Those are some hard ass notes to sing...he does a hell of a lot better at 'em than I do!
Watch this and drink your Mudder's Milk. Jane is a rockstar. :-) lol
in my opinion this song is for scott stap
Fuzzy Frantic his mother.
Fuzzy Frantic oh shit. Yeah it makes sense don’t it with the lyrics.
