Gorgeous views from all around the chapel. It's all so green and lush. Ahh, how lovely to have the cool of the shade at different times of the day around your mountains. The puppos are good boiz, more or less 😊.
There are some legends about that place. The litle chappel was built on a pagan sanctuary ( from the nearby pre-historic town). It is said that the portuguese army with their horses hid from the Napolean army inside a 2 km tunel, connecting the hill with the river Homem Its is also said, that another tunel goes from the hill till Barros ( close to where you live) and ends up in a cave. This cave, people say, is inhabited by a Moura, a female being from another realm. So you see, its not just green and water running even in summer 😊
Love this. Walks like this are very helpful indeed. Just so you know you have a great little channel and I truly appreciate it. Big plans in my head. Love from Southern California.
Lovely area you live in Louise, thank you for sharing. Good luck with your ongoing doggy training, Nelson and Terry appear a little calmer or maybe the heat is helping. All the best
They are so much calmer and yes the weather definitely helps too. After the morning walk they just chill around the garden like they are on marijuana!! 😎
I have no idea... I know nothing about fishing apart from what you told me!! 😂 Enjoy the mountains. Look out for my next video about something going on up there.
I'd say it's more than okay considering it's home to Portugals only National Park which is stunning!! Maybe you are not an explorer and only went to the city.
I feel very drawn to the north. Although I follow more homesteaders in central ( more there as property cheaper? 🤔) I’m hoping to find my new home in the north. Amarante area is particularly appealing.
Elaine Portugal take care about the rivers and water, some rivers coming from Spain. Yes have problems like other countries, water is a problem in some regions in Portugal, but not in the north Minho region.
@@Solo50plus aah yes in an area with animals it is a little harder to train. But I think we are all amazed at how calm and sweet they are now you have them. Well done Louise.
Beatiful sunset!
Beautiful view! I think the area around Braga is much nicer than the area between Castello Branco and Fundao.
It's different for sure, everyone has their personal preference. 😊
So wonderful to see how those dogs are now enjoying life!
It is a joy to see for sure 🥰

It is very green for sure the best part about the area 🌳🍃
Your north is starting to win me over from Centro 😊
You’re so good to those boys. It warms my heart that you saved them! (next time, bring water for you and them on a hot day!)
Wow that's some wild assumption being made there!!
Thanks for taking us on your walk! Beautiful area.
Thanks for coming along 😊
Its really a breathtakingly beautiful area! Thanks for letting us tag along :)
Thanks for joining me, glad you liked it :)
Great 👍

What a beautiful area! Dogs like blueberries, too!
They had some! They are on mono rotational feeding so they enjoyed them on their fruit day :)
Stunning views. 💚
They are!
Thumbnail 😍. Organic blueberries….🤤.
I have so many in the freezer. They are delicious even after defrosting! 😋
love you clips
Thanks
Any nice fishing spots near you. I'm in the Serra da Estrela for the next couple of weeks. We'll have to have a catch up.

Beautiful area! Thanks for sharing. What are the temps in this area? Central is having heat waves and seem so uncomfortable. 😂
A lot more manageable... we will have of 35°C at the weekend but mostly it varies between 27°C and 32°C. Just nice!
Lucky lady 🍷
😊 Yes and Luise sure put in the mileage to choose this area above other areas 💗
Been to Braga it's ok

@@Solo50plus I was right there where you are on the rock ... you get a really nice view! Actually

Amarante is lovely. I did a sit in the area (vlog #32) 😊
@@Solo50plusI shall check back and rewatch that vlog Luise 👍🏻😎
I’d love to find a housesit in the area too.
My mother born in Amarante, is so beautiful and good area for farmer.
👍
what is red eye, will it ever clear up
It’s cherry eye a prolapsed gland. No it won’t clear up.
Does your Gray water just go into the canal without treatment?
I don't live anywhere near a canal.

What has to happen before they can be off leesh?
I have trackers and I'm not in an area where they will come after me with pitch forks if they go near the animals.
