Just throwing this out in case you missed it. In the beginning against that steel eel, the eel was caged in a room filled entirely with high level shinsu. The fact that Bam could easily walk in so easily, fight it and not be effected at all by that powerful of a shinsu is what the key element to take away from that was. It was also clearly shown when he doesn't get pushed back when Leroro uses his shinsu and then later stated by the lacky that he is too dangerous. Lets just say.......A monster has arrived...

So for the anime onlys some clarifications: - In the webtoon, right after Baam was hit on the head his Shinsu went berserk, the red-haired girl(HwaRyun) loses the eye and Baam faints. - The Black March scene is ACTUALLY added by the animators. Personally, I think they added that scene to clarify to the viewers what happened BUT instead it confused people. Bold choice, for sure, by the animators. - Urek Mazino is one really important person in this story. I actually forgot that they showed him this early in the series. But it makes sense since the tattoo Urek has on his back is being shown to us during this 1st season just like how the three-eyed insignia on the 13 Month Series items is being thrown here and there. It actually is nice for anime onlys to try and find where these little details are being placed and most importantly WHY.
Yeah they mentioned urek in the beginning when we saw yuri in chapter 1 I suppose. All I remember from the manwa is yuri mentioned urek in manwa when he saw bam because he’s a irregular
When bam used that shinsu, Lero Ro said that he became shinsu, but in the webtoon he said that the shinsu actually became alive, bam never became shinsu itself.

Lero Ro did say that Shinsu became alive or rather as if it had a will of its own but then if you go down the route of whose Shinsu it is (Bam's) then in a way technically yes Bam did become Shinsu. Also this is just an observation from Lero Ro and we should see it this way not as a fact because he isn't much of an authority on Shinsu and even the person who is rumoured to be able to do what Lero Ro said happened with Bam's shinsu hasn't been confirmed to do so.
Just wanted to point out that Baam is considered a threat to the Tower because he's an Irregular. They haven't explained why yet in the anime but Irregulars are feared by the people in the Tower

Simply put, law and restrictions in the tower does not apply to them. Aside from that there are much bigger reasons why irregulars are "not welcome" in the tower.
I don't think that scene with black March happened. Shinsu itself protected bam. It has nothing to do with black March. When he got hit, he fell unconscious.
No spoilers, just want to clarify a couple things. 1. Shinsu means "divine water" but it's best not to think about it as actual water. It's more like chakra, as it's what allows them to use their abilities. 2. The scene where Black March stops time and knocks Bam out never happens in the webtoon. I just wanted to point that out because you guys said it meant Bam had the most powerful weapon. Even if she can stop time I highly doubt she's able to attack people at the same time since, like you guys said, that would be really overpowered, but that's just my opinion. Hey guys this is spoiler-free! Some things needs clarification! There's a few changes they did in this episode. 1. The Black March did not appear in the Manhwa 2. When Bam "awakened" that's also not part of the Manhwa. In the Manhwa the girl with the mask hit Bam behind the head, and as he fell into consciousness he wanted desperately to save Rachel, and that in turn made the Shinsu attack and hit her in the eye. 3. The Crown was not destroyed in the Manhwa. What happened was Rachel's team did not want the Crown so they forfeited the game as well. So the crown game was left with no winner. That's about it guys!
I actually like the things they've added. The manhwa is over a decade old and this way it just simplifies certain things that otherwise would be a big clusterf**k.

In this case Black March scene was obviously misunderstood by many (she didn't stop time obv,but it took a very very short amount of time between her appearence and baam ko)

Most shinsu, in basic form, is like blue water or air. Irregular sometimes have special shinsu colors unique to them, Marino has a very light/white shinsu. Also shinsu can change properties like becoming ice, fire, electricity and other forms. Also the black guy with a blue outfit that was with Yuri has a pin similar in design as the tattoo on Mazino’s back.

Basically, on the test floors they don't want groups of people who know each other, teaming up and messing with the results that were supposed to grade individuals. So Headon seperates people into different testing groups, but due to that one tester messing up the 3 survivors were sent to Lero Ro's group.
Basically they said that acquaintances can't be in the same test, because they could work in a team secretly, or do other things to cheat the system. If you had a long-time friend in the test with you, you would obviously work together
- The point of the test is for the trio (Rachel Squad) to advance the tower so that they will not interfere on the current examiners (explained by lero ro) - Anaak got it but bet it wont activate (just like yuri) - Natural Shinsu of Baam is seperate with Black March Power - Shinsu may come to different variety of colors, as for baam, his shinsu's color is the same as his eyes - BM is like near light speed - Urek mazino
The reason why the anime is different from the weebtoon is because the the creator of the series didn't make things really clear in the beginning so the anime is fixing it the creator even added some stuff in the anime to make things more clear
I commend you on your restraint. After watching the 1st episode, I've read the webtoon twice. I even use the fastpass to read as far as I could. Unfortunately, the author has to take a break for his health. It's like I'm addicted and need my fix, lol.
Not a spoiler just to clarify something Black March is a B class needle and for some reason anime change it to a blade so it's not the strongest weapon and Black March don't have any ability to stop the time.

It's more like the animators wanted to show us that the ignition weapons have their own dimension and they coexist with the tower climbers. Also, in the webtoon it's said that shinsu acted in its own accord so it's kind of confusing towards the manhwa readers. Lero Ro is already having his suspicions with Hansung Yu. They say it in the episode, Rachel can't talk to Baam because in the tower you can't be with anyone you know. That's why Rachel ignores Baam. I don't read the webtoon so I guess that's it :)
Bam n Rachel are both irregulars so that's 3 irregulars including Urek. Shinsu can take a different colour depending on the user. Also remember Rachel is chasing HER dream to see the stars.

The only thing that happened to bam in the webtoon is he collapsed after being hit by the girl with the staff. I think they added it so that the pacing of this episode will be more clear.

Although it says he became shinsu it's just trying to let you know that the shinsu basically reacted to bam as if it was alive or an extension of his own body unlike everyone else who needs permission to use shinsu ie they are controlling it like it's a tool rather than innately and shinsu can be any color.

NO SPOILER! There are some bullshit made up by the anime: 1. Black March doesn't have that ability. In fact, Black March never appeared in the Crown Game. 2. Lero Ro never said that Bam became shinsu. He said that Shinsu protected him on its own accord. 3. Bam never tried to attack the masked girl.
Why many people think that Black March stopped time? I don't think that it is the case, just what Black March did could take place in matter of milliseconds from Black March perspective time could be stopped. I might be wrong, but I don't think it has any connection to stopping time.

Guys, BM cannot stop time, it's a symbolic way to direct the scene to mean that everything occurred very quickly.
Its easier to explain that the stop time thing is anime only and does not happen in the original.
It could be an anime only thing, because Bam actually moved (when falling) while everyone was stopped.

Most shinsu, in basic form, is like blue water or air. Irregular sometimes have special shinsu colors unique to them, Marino has a very light/white shinsu. Also shinsu can change properties like becoming ice, fire, electricity and other forms. Also the black guy with a blue outfit that was with Yuri has a pin similar in design as the tattoo on Mazino’s back.

Basically, on the test floors they don't want groups of people who know each other, teaming up and messing with the results that were supposed to grade individuals. So Headon seperates people into different testing groups, but due to that one tester messing up the 3 survivors were sent to Lero Ro's group.
Shinsu is the substitute for air and stuff bc the tower doesn't have it. So it could take many forms. Not just water.
By the way Bam didn't actually "become Shinsu", the correct translation would be "that Shinsu felt as if it was alive" or something like that.
Basically they said that acquaintances can't be in the same test, because they could work in a team secretly, or do other things to cheat the system. If you had a long-time friend in the test with you, you would obviously work together

The reason why the anime is different from the weebtoon is because the the creator of the series didn't make things really clear in the beginning so the anime is fixing it the creator even added some stuff in the anime to make things more clear

Been waiting for this, haha. I'd like to say Black March does not have the capability to stop time. It's more like the animators wanted to show us that the ignition weapons have their own dimension and they coexist with the tower climbers. Also, in the webtoon it's said that shinsu acted in its own accord so it's kind of confusing towards the manhwa readers.

And bam didn't become shinsu, that was a very weird translation. The original text has Lero Ro saying the shinsu moved as if it was alive.

The Black March doesn't have the power to stop the time. Even me who reads the webtoon did not expect that scene. The only thing that happened to bam in the webtoon is he collapsed after being hit by the girl with the staff. I think they added it so that the pacing of this episode will be more clear.

Although it says he became shinsu it's just trying to let you know that the shinsu basically reacted to bam as if it was alive or an extension of his own body unlike everyone else who needs permission to use shinsu ie they are controlling it like it's a tool rather than innately and shinsu can be any color.

1. Black March doesn't have that ability. In fact, Black March never appeared in the Crown Game.
2. Lero Ro never said that Bam became shinsu. He said that Shinsu protected him on its own accord.
3. Bam never tried to attack the masked girl.
Why many people think that Black March stopped time? I don't think that it is the case, just what Black March did could take place in matter of milliseconds from Black March perspective time could be stopped. I might be wrong, but I don't think it has any connection to stopping time.
