Riding it over a week now, very happy, this is what makes the Ninebot Max perfect now for me! Hope its survives the winter (and me)
I need to ride mine more. Work gets it the way.
Will be interesting to see how long it will last.
There is complaints of oil leaking and the centre bar that holds the fender bending.

ive seen there are complaints, also many bad example's .. so i dont think there is a quality control
Serge Cls to me it’s price is awesome. So I won’t complain if it faults early. Just another thing I can show you guys
Scoot, Scoot, Let's Go! Absolutely Right! Lowest price i found is 44€ incl shipping To Belgium. Depends how i guess, some parts are welded, so hope they dont break with me on it.. and there is no protection of the 2 bolts from the wheel, used some locktide to prevent this. Probably buy another one for my gen1.

I am wonder:
1. why oil can leak
2. which problem(s) is leading to distortion of center bar if rider follows scooter instructions up to 100kg./220lbs.?
I am wonder if I can avoid this problems?

I brought the i scooter i9 max and the front suspension doesn't work . Not sure if it has suspension coils in it. Or is there something you have to do to make work 😕

I have a g30LP, no rear suspension, only with this fork, can I ride?
the only thing i dont like about this suspension is that it adds inclination.. front side is a bit higher than the rear side.. if its can be fixed.. that would be awesome
The only way you can do that is to prop the rear up

So this added about 0.5KG on top of the original forks.
@@ScootLetsGo 0.5kg. is a very reasonable weight increase.
Is it worth the extra weight compared to standard front set up?

I’m still going to do some quality tests to make sure it lasts. I tend to my scooter through its paces.

Nice. I would prefer a fork suspension over the single shock one that’s been available for the max. I just added some closed cell foam padding.
Ar Ran its new and people have mentioned that’s it’s not as good as it should be. But we will see :)

Scoot, Scoot, Let's Go! - it is a neoprene padding that’s attached to the deck. So I stand on it. I commute 9 miles each way to work. So it helps my feet. The trip is all paved bike paths and just a little street or sidewalk depending on how traffic is acting.
Ar Ran I used to travel this distance. My feet got used to it after a few trips. Had to wear the right trainers though.
Not I work from home. So I try to get out as much as I can when the weather allows me to.
Scoot, Scoot, Let's Go! - I’m too lazy to swap my work boots. When I ride recreationally I just wear sneakers.

klonhead I haven’t ridden much. But it does add to the comfort. I just need rear suspension now.
In my opinion it’s not meant for this type of terrain I’m on as it’s still a commuter scooter. But it’s better than having nothing :).
@@klonhead Does the suspension have a name? So it would be easier to find.
@@ScootLetsGo Yeah the rear suspension would be sweet. Maybe it's possible to change the spring inside the fork to a stronger one or even a progressive wound spring. Also since it's a hydraulic fork it should be possible to try different weights of hydraulic oil to change the fork characteristics. I need to order one and try for myself :)

In my comparison and personal observation. A fork suspension is longer play than monorim front suspension.

I have one of these front suspensions too, but I was wondering if my suspension is too tight because I'm 185 lbs and when I jump on the board to see the suspension in motion and noticed it doesn't maneuver as much as I have seen you and others jumping on it.
Johnny Chan it’s got about an inch of travel. Check out my follow up video. Someone said it can be adjusted.

Any wobbles on the stem?
darrel bajaro there is a small amount of wobble. Nothing serious. Doing my usual adjustments didn’t fix it. So the shaft on the suspension must be slightly smaller

This is a old video and you probably won't see this comment, but is the ride improvement worth the cost or would something else be better value?

This suspension is ok and does improve the the ride better than not having suspension. But if you have the money or can save. I would wait for the sharkset suspension.

@@ScootLetsGo The difference between the fork and the shark is probably not as big as the fork and no suspension, so I may have to get the for as the shark is out of my budget
