@@Runningwithhayden the time as amazing 3:19 i could only dream of it. you did it and got that medal. its amazing plus Chicago in 2 weeks. you can redeem yourself :-)
Great video, I personally enjoyed the marathon but have only run London a few times and Berlin now. It would be great to knowwhat is the best of the six?
Thank you! It’s tough when deciding which major is best as people are always different for me Boston has the best atmosphere around the whole weekend and is extra special but the course is hard. Chicago tops it for me I think? It has everything. The American ones are definitely more lively with so much support
It wasn't great like the other 5 majors because the German culture is very mechanical, they don't know how to interact with other cultures. They find it hard to say hello or good morning to a stranger They came across to me as though they don't love life for all its complexities.
This is a disrespectful and dumb thing to say. Judging people from different cultures or expecting them to act and behave in a certain way, means you don’t understand and respect cultural differences and diversity. Berliners love running, and their love is shown in the superbe organising of this race, and the fact that record numbers of people ran it and applied for it, proves that. You cannot expect the locals to behave in a way that you are used to that it’s normal in other places. As for the runner of this channel, I see you wear a fordy run T-shirt, that says it all.
@@Gabriel85Mihai Don’t think that was the message that the comment was trying to get across at all. I was comparing it from a USA spectator marathon and it wasn’t meant to be disrespectful at all. The Germans are far more reserved in there supporting course than the big USA ones in the series. It wasn’t meant to be a disrespectful comment at all was just an observation, sorry you was offended. There was no expectations just a comparison. I have no doubt that Berliners love running, we all support and show our emotions differently and that’s absolutely fine. I just can’t help feeling that the support on course was a lower key than other races, that was my only observation
@@Gabriel85Mihai Calm down.... I have ran 5 majors and Berlin is the only major I got negative vibes from. Yes of course it's the general culture, it's not ever single German because Berlin is an international city that attracts people from all over the world. But you can't deny my experience, going to the museums, shops etc and dealing with locals. Berlin came across very negative, In my opinion Berlin should be removed from the majors and it should be given to Valencia was is a super positive wonderful all inclusive city that is grateful when people from over the world visits their beautiful city. Think you have summed that up about the support!!
