I always think it is the legacy of Segovia for people to learn to emulate his sense of mastery of his instrument.
Genius...a serious artist who left a brilliant legacy. The only guitarist who could create poetry.

Gaspar Cassadó was a great cellist ... in addition to knowing how to transcribe Boccherini's works from cello to guitar.
He also composed works for guitar that Andres Segovia himself recorded for him.
Cassadó was an incredible musician: I love playing his guitar pieces.

I played this concerto a couple of times but only with piano and I am searching for the orchestral score as well. If one of us would get the score would write to the others!

Are you sure that this is New York? i think this is Italy. There is another video in youtube of Segovia playing in this same stage and it says it's Italy.
The Italian television broadcasted the concert, which was recorded in NY for the "Festival of Performing Arts" series produced by David Susskind and James Fleming. Unfortunately, some TH-cam channels are offering wrong information.
