Relive the 2022 LEC Summer Finals Opening Ceremony, and celebrate a decade of the EULCS and LEC, with a live performance of Awakened featuring Cassyette and the Malmö University Orchestra.
Playing in the opening ceremony was an experience I won't ever forget. Thank you to all of the people in the production team who made it possible. You wouldn't believe how many people worked on this behind the scenes
You all did an amazing job, experiencing this ceremony live had me on goosebumps the whole way through. Well done to yourself and all the others that made it happen.

The way they did the player intros was really cool this time imo

Yes, not a cringefest like in LPL and better than in LCS
They often drag it out for way to long, making the players just stand around awkwardly. This was so much better
@@unwweyrich4661 yess exactly, this was the best way to do player intros I’ve seen so far in LEC. Everyone deserves their Moment in the spotlight, I’m not a fan of ONLY introducing the team as a whole, but these 3-5 seconds of posing per player are the sweet spot.
This was infinitely better in terms of introduction compared to worlds. T1 and DRX looked really damn awkward there while they were being introduced
@@saltylelele especially since they had to stand around doing nothing for 10 minutes while waiting for Lil Nas X to finish and go home
The crowd was lovely. Them singing and cheering hyped me up so much, hope it will be like that at worlds, too.

This LEC split will always be remembered. Rogue time. They finally did it.
And this amazing opening ceremony would have been even more emotional if it was performed after the final.

The arena experience was mind-blowing. If you have the means I'd definitely recommend going. We're already thinking about going next year.

The volume of the crowd was completely insane in person. The stream doesn’t do it justice
I think they had to lower the mic volume to keep it from peaking, but they lowered it too much cos it makes it sound kinda soft which doesn't match the insane number of people there were in the stadium
Do Quickshot justice and include our WHOOOOOA, production team!
@@TC127_ You can hear that they actively attempt to dampen the mics all the time but even that sometimes just cannot keep up. And sometimes without warning they just remove the dampening and you go deaf for a few seconds,
i agree with that that crowd was insane i was in it and that was just amazing!
Damn, actually proper audio quality for the performance.
Even many Worlds performances really lacked in the audio department. This was solid.
I hope we can get similar audio quality/mixing for Worlds this year.
you mean at the stream or in the arena? In my opinion the sound in the arena was terrible and you nearly couldn't here any word from the caster

@@tofuklops8159 The curse of being on-site. While I wasnt there, every event (concerts included) they crank the base a bit too hard usually making ti down out most other noise. I do get why they do this, but it is slightly annoying
Lol I didnt have any problem with understanding anyone in the arena. Dont really understand why you could have those issues

honest opinion: It wasn't bad but when the refrain got repeated for the 3rd time it got a little bit repetetive and cringe. It should have either been shorter or the song should have been a little less monotonous. But overall it was still good.
