WALT DISNEY! Johnny Appleseed song was sung every day at Camp Pelicon, Holiday house in 1969 where my older sister and ai camped for the summer in Mount Vernon, New York. Praise the Lord for our upbringing there! And yes, it's a Walt Disney movie, with Johnny Appleseed holding the Bible, the Living Word of God. Amazing.
I remember singing this at Camp Fire Camp before meals. It was our prayer.. yet it went: "The Lord is good to me....and so I thank the Lord......for giving me the things I need the sun and the rain and the apple seed.......the Lord is good to me......"
