Blown motor update mar 2024

Ep 142: I get the injector pump timing tested and its ok but blow another radiator and have to replace it to get home with my faulty motor.

anytime you try to remove the block drain plug on a Patrol a single hex socket is essential also plastic radiator tanks on a Patrol have a rubber "O" ring that seals the tank against the core

yeh i used a 6 sided socket but it stripped anyway

That's Sad for you. hope you get her sorted, As soon as the wet season is over I'm heading up North for 12 weeks Weipa area Gulf and top of WA kalumburu. tow up my 5m tinny do some fishing.

Easier to crack the water fitting on the turbo to drain it.
