A correction: When I say in the video that the lift levels good, I am referring to what is good within the world of Lester and ThamesValley. This is not good compared to a real logic such as Kone LCE or Schindler Miconic.
A blind person might struggle to feel where the screen is as it is a flat surface. Disabled mode on all other destination systems tell the user to press button again when the floor is announced. As this system tells the user to touch the screen to increment the floor, and as the response is so laggy, the time the system responds the user may have already touch the screen again and it will have now gone past their floor.
@@benolifts i did come across a video which showed a destination dispatch system where disabled/accessibility mode worked slightly differently to that, but it still used the button as the means of the user selecting their floor “Press the button to increment floor numbers, hold the button to confirm destination” I can’t remember exactly what it said, but i think that is close to what it said
@@LachieVidsTransportVlogs they look atrociously boring and ugly. when arriving to the top floor it flashes the going down arrow even if the lift will stay there. that makes kleemann a generic company. because a kleemann uses generic doors, buttons (schaefer, though not all models) generic logic and generic indicator. rubbish and boring. someone who was installing a kleemann said that “kone and schindler are dust compared to kleemann) when kone is full intelligent and SOME kleemanns are blind vf? same for schindler
@@benolifts LiSA is basically ethos 2 (it also has instructions but only how to use the menus), but miles more rubbish. This Answers the question: “Why are LiSA controllers so rare?”.

Understood
Now I understand. 👍
imagine lester controls destination despatch
inefficiently to a complete new level
With disabled mode, i would have thought that it would have been designed so that you use the button to select the floor, not touching the screen

I wonder if the touch screen would respond to gloves as a fireman uses one in an actual emergency situation🤔
Hey beno, quick question, when will your update to sksyscrapersim will be released?
Wow, those are rather excellent. I love how the car screen turns into a touchscreen.
Hmm, isn't the internal touch screen against fire codes though?
I was thinking that
r/crappydesign why put the cartop controls/inspection station away from the "safe space" it like they dont want you to surf it.
That huge touch screen inside the lift is super weird but kinda cool tho. Great video as always✌️
Have you looked at the wierd lfts at Travelodge london city yet?
What is interesting about these lifts? Also, which Travelodge is it as there are several with similar names.
I have been to a couple Travelogue hotels and some of the lifts are so bad
Apparently you have to do that at the Royal London Hospital
Yay! I like playing with destination dispatch
Can I ask you a question. What is an interesting generic lift you liked.
There are not many.
Opening To Detailed Look At Thames Valley Destination Dispatch a2022 UK DVD
Would love to see a detailed look at Lisa logic if you ever come across it.
I have filmed it within other videos before. I should do a full detailed look on it. Lisa logic is so shit that it makes Lester look good.
@@benolifts Lisa makes nice looking LED indicators, that’s pretty much all they do good

Why do you keep posting videos when you dont have any ads on youtube?
Is having ads an essential part of having a hobby?
Ever heard of ad-block.
Schindler Port and KONE Polaris are the best destination dispatch systems on the market
I like the first generation PORT better than the new one
DOAS for the matter :P
OTIS Compass?
i want to ride that elevator.
The Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo!!!
The voice is a text to speech from google translate how odd
Those lift display screens at hotels are like they are from the future. And some of them are touchscreen rather than buttons.

You’re fake. Go away.
Those in car screens, the error looks like it’s coming from an early iPad. I don’t know about the main screens.
Interesting.
