No current plans have been submitted to the town. Looks like the current owner, the CEO of Estee Lauder, is just selling it as land and will leave the building to the next owner.
Instead of purchasing homes with the intention of demolishing them, people should consider buying vacant land and preserving existing homes with beautiful architecture for others to enjoy.
Incredible place. I was shocked when someone asked me to film the empty lot and I told them they were for sure wrong because a big mega mansion was there.
Usually, if there are very important non-public secrets within a certain location, then the most optimal way to help keep those secrets, "a secret", is to change or evolve that same location into something which will no longer help keep those same secrets in anyway, shape or form.
@@Legendary_Productions Maybe the owner(s) lost a bet which included total demolition? Obviously someone decided that the place had to be totally gone. Why? If you really want to know you could hire professional remote viewers and/or others alike. Make a new video about whatever they discover and it may even surprise or shock you and your viewers. That is one option, at least. Or just leave it a mystery, don't give it another thought.
I am not familiar with Florida law specifically but in most municipalities, you cannot simply tear down a taxable property and leave an empty lot. No demolition can proceed without a permit and the permit will have to include the purpose and future use of the property. So, perhaps someone got a permit to tear this down to build something that would benefit the community with increased taxes and then went broke? It won't be vacant land for long. There is too much potential for tax revenue.
Yes, I'm sure they obtained a permit. The purpose isn't really known but I can tell you it's the CEO of Este Lauder and he is not broke. Far from it. I assume he will somehow make money from this but I also don't see how.
110 million went from the Company to the seller, so the company got punished already, lol. Seller bought it for 40 million in 2019. Let's hope seller will put the money to good use, unlike the buyer. lol. The buyer is struggling to sell the property now, he had to cut the price by 20 million already.
A massive 36,000-square-foot Palm Beach mansion built in 2016 was demolished Tuesday - less than a year after Estée Lauder heir, William Lauder, purchased the home for a whopping $110 million.
This was a COMPLETE waste of drafting, building, luxurious materials, TIME & MONEY. $110,000,000 could have been utilized in sooo many different ways to help the needy. SMH!
Such a beautiful home. I heard that there was a water leak in the home that no one could figure out where the leak was coming from. Then I heard that someone secretly put a water pipe in the home during construction that was connected separately to an irrigation line. When it rained someone was turning the valve on to make it look like water was leaking from the roof.

Imagine the tens of thousands of skilled man hours that went into creating his home only to be destroyed for some billionaire to build a modern mansion on. Sad
Mr. Lauder is the executive chairman of beauty giant Estée Lauder Companies. He recently listed two parcels in Palm Beach with about 360 feet of ocean frontage for a combined $200 million. He bought one of the properties, a roughly 1-acre parcel, for just under $25.4 million in 2020, records show. He purchased the second property, spanning about 1.8 acres, for an undisclosed price in 2021. Both lots had houses that were demolished.
in my personal opinion I think russian oligarch or developer was bought this masterpiece and demolished. especially Russian oligarch did tear down former president donald trump's palm beach mansion called maison de l'amitié. and oligarch split the land and sold it. Sold price was very pricey.

All the expensive materials and marble sent to the junk after only 8 years. What a waste.
Nah, they would save the materials for use in other homes.
It's crazy to think that the whole house now sits in a big garbage dump
