@Simply Logical You're wrong the sum is 17 you can say that answer is 89 or 98 or something else in which sum of digits is 17

17...addition of horizontal numbers of each line decreases by next odd number. base line 11, next one 13, next one 15 so the top block of the pyramid = 17. less then 10 seconds, got the solution of this puzzle.

I got it!
At first I thought 8 because it was missing. But then I noticed there were 2 2s so it didn't make sense. Then I checked for maybe just even or odd numbers in a row. That's when I started adding.
But was surprised, the right answer being a double digit.

I noticed that same progression, but with the understanding that only a single-digit number could occupy any one box and thus concluded that the topmost number would be 17 - 10 = 7
